Akinci & Aksungur and Turkish Unmanned Fighter Aircraft Program

.
The message in Shephard Media can taken be for real.
T-129 Atak suffered balance problems and was loaded with rear balance weights, cause that BS problem.
Now it seems to be solved ? ! I don't know @Combat-Master @madmusti

Our engineers can construct but never are aware about export restrictions, certifications
and international law against Turkey !

Even up to now Turkish patent Institute is not full recognized from UN authority !

That's the result. Scandal a Flir Safire III with Aselsan CAM as Alibi.

I claimed before that Bayraktar had to purchase FLIR made cams via Turkish Ministry for Forest and metioned it as a RF toy !

Now , that's the result. Kendimizi aldatmayalim. Alinacak cok yol var.

PAPERWORK and not fanboy stuff.

All this leads to this dilemma;
If there is export restriction and downgrade, how come its possible that saphhire is allowed with mounting up in here with a Turkish camera? Or else,
If the restriction given over resolution this leads to rest of the systems arent that complicated , so aselsan doesnt have any struggle with it. So in this way, aselsan would either produce cats, or produce it there is no other way.
To make it clear, if it was that sensitive equipment that wouldnt allowed to be integrated with another camera. If the camera is sensitive one, aselsan may do rest easily.

Those things are not RF toys once after they accomplish standards and field, acceptance and factory tests. They are assured with enough capability.
Hence bayraktar was a private company, they would need a exchanger for purchase, and foreign affairs ministry was just doing that. Sometimes you cant buy things directly .

Also, it more seems shephard media has seen the mockup with star saphire, so they have been talking such, thing in the other way once the anka is introduced, thats better to use well known systems on that to assure people about integration. The customer feels better in that way.

It was some years ago. Together with a young officer from Police Flying Squad in Ankara we had a discussion with Finmeccanica's representative who was an ex - foreign military officer. Hex explained us with details that Finmeccanica's proven gimbals in the USA are downgraded if exported , with lower resolution. It is now DRS technology a 100% Finmeccanica company. The project of Police is going on with Turkish Gendarme and Ministry of Forestry, I hope ready next year. It will be a monitoring solution with very long endurance from air. Easy deployable or stationary. More details will later be public.

Anka-S First Flight Planned For Third Quarter 2016
Apr 22, 2016 Tony Osborne | Aerospace Daily & Defense Report

LONDON — Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) is preparing to perform the first flight of its new Anka-S medium altitude, long endurance (MALE), unmanned air system (UAS) in the third quarter of this year, company officials have told Aviation Week. Anka-S is a radically updated development of the indigenously-developed Anka UAV which first flew back in 2010. As well as boosting altitude and endurance performance, over the original Anka-A model the Anka-S will also be fitted with a .....

Şunu anlatmaya çalışıyoruz;
Bakın şubat ayı başından beri iki MALE (orta irtifa, uzun havada kalış) sınıfı 2 ANKA Blok A Elazığ’da uçuyor.
Blok A’lar yerden kontrol edildiği için şimdilik 200 km menzile sahipler.
(IFF sistemi).
Blok B’lerdeki 200 km’lik menzil sınırsız hâle geliyor.
Yani, ABD’nin yaptığı gibi kaldır Predatörü veya Reaper’i.. 24 saat boyunca at bir Orta Doğu veya Afganistan turu.. Vuracağını vur, indireceğini indir, sonra gel sessizce kon yine..
5-6 bin metre irtifaya ulaşınca, Predatörler veya Reeper’larda “hand over” yapılıyor yani komuta/kumanda İncirlik’ten Nevada’ya devrediyor.
Bu noktada Good Kill filmini mutlaka izlemenizi tavsiye ederim..
Bizde de aynı olacak. 5-6 tane yer kontrol istasyonu kurulacak.
Burada küçük bir nokta koyup tekrar Elazığ’a dönelim isterseniz:

What the hell "Genel Maksat Füzesi" mean?

If ANKA is gonna carry 4 umtas, how could her 200 kg payload will be enough?

Where the hell the"F" notation (ANKA-F) comes from?

Xponential 2016: TEI outlines PD170 development

Tusas Engine Industries (TEI) is on course to commence flight testing of its new PD170 engine in 2019, IHS Jane's has learned.

Speaking at AUVSI's Xponential 2016 exhibition and conference, Ahmet Dincer, TEI's programme leader for research and development, said that rig-based testing will commence in the fourth quarter of this year, followed by ground testing in 2017. A serial production engine will be ready in 2018.

The PD170 is planned to be the future unit for Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI's) Anka unmanned aircraft system (UAS) - the Turkish military's medium-altitude, long-endurance UAS.

The powerplant that currently equips Anka, which can be described as an evolved Thielert Centurion engine, is a 155 hp 2.0S four-cylinder, four-stroke, turbo-diesel engine.

In its original guise the Centurion engine was beset by problems; units that equipped the US Army's Gray Eagle UAS experienced issues with the clutch in particular, and platform losses have been put down to the engine, it is also considered to be somewhat underpowered.

As such the US Army has moved to re-engine its platforms and TAI has received modified Centurion units and purchased the technical data package from the manufacturer, which has since been taken over following bankruptcy and the new enterprise shifted the focus of its activities away from UAS.

Dincer said that much effort has been placed on assuring that the PD170 does not experience the same issues as the Centurion engine, with a focus on the introduction of a robust clutch.

The key benefit brought by the PD170 over the Centurion is its critical altitude performance, with the engine able to develop and maintain 120 hp at up to 30,000 ft and 170 hp at up to 20,000 ft.

This has been made possible largely through the use of a twin turbocharger, Dincer explained. He also noted that there is growth potential in the PD170, with a projected 210 hp possible with only minor modifications.

What does this mean for ANKA exactly? @cabatli_53 ?

This is a good change or a bad change? Considering the role of ANKA as a MALE drone.
