In Phase 8 it look like we go for a two Engined UCAV which is a greater Plattform than Taranis or other demonstrators. It will have more Payload and Fuel Capacity, which mean more Range !

That project is seperate from the current MALE one from what i understand.

That is the downside of having civillians have too much say in these projects. The need of the TSK may change, but you will never accumulate wisdom or experience if you do not complete existing projects and learn from your mistakes. Constantly changing the specs to your needs is similar to saying "gee I need a new computer, but I will wait, ½ year more because then a better one will be available, and I can get more for my money".

I'd rather have the current projects to be finished. Indians wanted every shiny thing to be on Arjun and it took a million years to finish the project.

First they wanted a SATCOM antenna, now they want it to become HALE... tomorrow they'll say "let's make it stealth"
and the project that should be over in 2015 will be over by 2023. That's dumb.

That project is seperate from the current MALE one from what i understand.
