Dont now why the specification are lower now, but after Bayraktar announced that they have the record with 27.070 feet it was clear that the Anka ist not able at the moment to fly at 30.000feet. But i think they work hard on it to get the Anka in that area.

At trials:

ANKA-A (1600kg take off weight) reached 18h duration, max. (more or less) 26500ft alttiude
ANKA-S (2016): 24h duration, 30000ft altitude (CATS, SATCOM standart)
ANKA-TP: 6000kg take off weight, 45000ft alttiude, 1000hp P&W motor

ANKA-S(under production) have 160kg lighter fuselage than A variant at present. Aselsan CATS will provide around 50kg additional weight advantages as well. It is like struggling with power to weight ratios in each efforts of TAI's young and proud engineers. Otherwise, Platform doesn't have any problem.

ANKA-B will perform test flight in second part of 2014, until the beggining of 2015.
ANKA-TP prototype was planned to be revealed with an accelerated development project model until 2016 but I don't know current statues of project and planned shedule...

Turkish aerostat is produced

Turkey became one of UAV aerostat producers in the world. The technology is widely used at many areas such as Afghanistan. Aerostat’s shape resembles Zeppelin, and It is immobile like balloon. It however provides communication and reconnaissance where it is stationed. Aerostats have a light structure so that the helium serves for the payload. This is provided by a very light tissue that blocks helium to escape from balloon. The balloon may be shot but it does not loose its helium due to negative pressure. Doruk balloon system produced by Otonom Teknoloji (autonomous technology) made its first flight on July 16th. Aerostat has flown at 65 and 155 meters altitude.

The military signed a deal for 10 ankas. Does anyone know which version of the anka will be operated by the tsk?

Working with TSK is not an easy thing. Remember How Israel suffered to deliver Herons or Boeing for AEW&C. No Iranian products can find a place in TSK inventory. That's why All Turkish products must be either equal, or more advanced than Western equivalents at some specifications. They mostly not accept a downgraded domestic products with pointing out nationalitic reasons.
