Indonesia Going for ANKA

Jakarta.
Indonesian ship and airplane builders finalized business deals totaling $520 million with Turkish companies, paving the way for future investments from Turkey into diverse industries in the Southeast Asian nation.

State-owned ship manufacturer PAL Indonesia signed a $320 million deal with Turkish energy company Karadeniz Holding to build four power ships, according to Thomas Lembong, the chairman of the Investment Coordination Board (BKPM).

Each ship will have the capacity to generate 36-80 megawatts of electrical power to bolster energy needs in some of the country's more remote provinces.

Thomas also said cooperation between PAL and Karadeniz would put Indonesia on the map as an important manufacturing base for power ships in Southeast Asia, where neighboring countries like the Philippines and Myanmar might be potential customers.

In a separate deal, airplane manufacturer Dirgantara Indonesia (DI) and Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) agreed to a $200 million cooperation to develop DI's N245 aircraft and to market the N219 aircraft to Turkish airlines. In return, DI will help market and produce TAI's UAV-ANKA military drone.

We dont have benefits in this stupid contract. Now İndonesia can produce Anka and sell it for his own interests. Bizde avuçumuzu yalarız...

We're buying a plane which is at least partly Turkish and we are selling them ANKA drones. What are you complaining about, bro? This is reality. It is a good deal for both sides if you ask me.

Yav, siz ciddi misiniz?

They dont buy ANKA drones. İndonesia can produce ANKA and has the right to sell it. Beleşe malın üzerine konaçaklar.

We will help Indonesia with making ther drone, they will learn it from us. Not for free of course! We don't need ther assistance for the airplane they are offering, we are for more looking for partners and customers for anka. See the strategic side of the deal. Both side win win...

Turkey spend over 10 years development for ANKA drones and now they will gift this hard work for nothing. Sanki bilmiyoruz, ingilizler bizim hükümete dayatma ve baskı yapıyor. Böyleçe bizimkiler endonezyaya ne isterlerse veriyorlar. Endonezya demek Britanyanın asya da finanz merkezi demek. Üzerine soguk su icin...

Indonesia was a colony of the Dutch Empire...

Anlasmanin icerigini detaylarini bilmeden nasil atip tutuyorsunuz bu devirde birak bedavaya IHA'yi günahini bile vermez kimse kimseye kaldiki bu sirketlerin en önemli hedefleri kazanc saglamak kar yapmak oyuzden tepkiler sacma geliyor sirf zan üzere spekülasyon yapiyorsunuz

delinin biri kuyuya tas atmis kirk akilli cikaramamis misali

Deep state of İndonesia was always on British Empire.
Deep state of Indonesia had never anything to do with the British Empire, since the 17th 18th century the Dutch East Indian Company(VOC) was the dominant power in Indonesia and in 1800 after bankrupcy of the VOC,it became a Dutch colony.
After WWII,Indonesia became independent,Sukarno Suharto etc.
The history of Indonesia is a part of Dutch history and thats why most Dutch educated people know it.

dont know about the fuzz, the contract itself will give Turks more benefit than the opposite. Even though Indonesia will produce ANKA under license, spare parts and sensitive technology will come from Turks and not to mention license fee is will be Turks for every Anka made and sold. Not to mention Indonesia will serve as Turks gateway to lucrative Asian Pacific Market country like Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Philippine is a good market for Turkish military product. And Indonesia is at their doorstep not to mention every country in the region is in a pinch for modernization programme as China really flexed their muscle so the market is really open in this area. For having Indonesia as your promoteer is not really bad idea considering in the region only Indonesia and Malaysia actually know your products and military innovation.

BTW, if anything Indonesia had conflict against British ex colonist in the region several times. We are Dutch East Indies legacy

how do you mean no hope in the middle east, what about the MRAPs and Ejder armored Vehicles which is exported and used by Tunisian armed forces, the modernezation of M117 vehicles of Saudi Army, modernization of Egyptian F-16's Yonca-Onuk boats used by Egyptian navy and modernization of Jordanian F-16's not to mention the aselsan plant in Jordan and many more.
