I can see some exited kids jumping up and down on PAF response..... But they dont understand IAF jets were inside pak territory (allegedly) for 3 min approximately..... Lets say PAF detected IAF jets and scramble them. By that time PAF jets are on air it takes more than 5 minutes, and then add the time it takes to reach the IAF jet.... I think guys need to understand that things doesnt work as fast as their brain.....

Kid,

How about the time when four Su-30s breached over Lahore and were intercepted and forced to return before shooting them down? They were detected, given a warning, intercepted, given a warning and all happened in few minutes. This is PAF's response time we're talking about here, not IAF's.

“Pakistan Air Force initiated prompt tactical actions and scrambled the two fighter aircraft to challenge the intruders. Upon PAF actions, Indian aircraft exited the Pakistani airspace,” said the PAF spokesman.

Dawn news.

Some people are massively over reacting...get a grip folks.

Sir its not over reaction Sir PAF should have been in Air the moment they saw these planes coming we gave them around 8 new Awacs Sir and they have also many other radars and these planes were armed Sir the moment they entered Pakistan Air Defense should have shot them down and PAF fighters should have been in Air before they entered our border

What if they had nukes and had launched them? Best idea is to nuke India before they can even try such a thing

the way you are calculating response response time and ETA, it tell me that you have no knowledge of how the air forces operate. we are talking about response time or our paf, this has happened before and before this. evertime iaf had to face jets scrambled with in minutes and made to turn around.

Just on usual recce duty.

Now I am waiting to hear conspiracy theories and insider news... about how out of nowhere PAF jets locked Indian jets and escorted them to Indian airspace.

Funny thing is, even indian media reported about PAF intercepting intruding enemy aircrafts and yet they're still "conspiracy theories"

I vaguely recall an indian helo being forced to land and its crew forced to disembark (including a Lt Col) - luckily for them, just to have tea and receive a lesson on GPS readings before being shown what could've otherwise been an undignified 'exit'

As for mishaps - yes they too happen. If it was a wake up call then so be it. We do the same time to time; the Turks and Greeks were often at it over Cyprus for much of the 20th Century

I'm sure the mess halls are abuzz with talk and that despite a lack of war wariness during 'peacetime' they would be up to task before they even entered our holy skies

In all honesty, a 1300cc Suzuki Busa can accomplish 7 km in hardly 2 minutes from a standstill. For supersonic aircrafts it's not far at all - on a clear day it's within visual range easily

PAF should have had the IAF aircrafts landed in Pakistan, invite them for some awesome kashmiri chai and then send them back! Imagine the spirit of both nations if that was to happen!

And in the evening, PAF F16 landing in Ambala for Having Kashmiri Pulao in the dinner with their counterparts...

I think IAF did this deliberately to check response time.

Here is a map IAF jets intruded from Head SUlaimanki region, the closest airforce installation is in Vehari which i guess is non operational in peace time. Jacababod is too far and as jets scrambled from Sargodha IAF fighters had 1/2min window to ran away.
PAF needs to cover all gaps and improve early warning system and install SAM's.:pissed: Guys before cursing PAF you must realize that response time was good considering the distance between Sargodha and Head Sulemanki and PAF didn't allow them to cross 5-10km.
