PESHAWAR - A junior commissioned officer of the Frontier Corps was killed and a soldier injured as a result of alleged firing by personnel of Afghan security forces in border areas of Mohmand Agency. Officials said personnel of Afghan security forces opened fire at personnel of Pakistani security forces at Gorapari checkpost in Baezai area of Mohmand Agency late on Thursday. A subedar (junior commissioned officer) of Frontier Corps was killed and a soldier injured. In retaliation, the security forces also started firing on their counterparts from Afghanistan, forcing them to cease fire.
The cross-border firing occurred a few hours after Afghan President Hamid Karzai’s press conference, wherein he put forward certain conditions for signing a strategic agreement with Pakistan, including stoppage of alleged interference by militants in internal affairs of Afghanistan. Meanwhile, two alleged suicide bombers were killed in an attack on the house of a militant commander in Hangu on Friday. Police officers said two suicide bombers blew themselves up at the main gate of Mohammad Nabi Hanfi’s House. As a result, both bombers were killed and the house razed to the ground.

Long live our Afgani brothers .

We have a few million of them on our soil, would you put your money where your mouth is and perhaps take a few thousand of your brothers for some sisterly love. !!

I am surprised you don't know this but "Bandar kay Hath Main Bandooq Daina" is a proverb which implies allowing someone to do something they are not qualified for. You take things too literally.

care to explain?

Any ressemblance?

The above post is in bad taste, I request you do away with it in favour of maintaining a civil atmosphere.

No the idiom is used for untrained disorganised, emotional and ignorant people handling weapons or any other tool that can cause harm if wrongly used.

On topic... Afghans in uniform,so far havent proved to be much different than afghans without uniform..
Both have killed foreign troops..
Now both kill Pakistani troops..
So from Pakistans and ISAF point if view ANA is no different from Talibans..
Both are unreliable.

those stone age barbarians are taking too much panga with a nuclear power, should we just nuke them to fumes?

And here I was discussing on other thread where people thought things will go back same as it was before 9/11 in Afghanistan and Af-Pakistan relationship. Taliban will again rule and Pakistan will again have its backyard.

Things have changed a lot. One has to admit it. The reality is millions of Afghans in Pakistan, a less friendly local armed force, foreign players in the region with ever increasing presence.

One of the scenario is civil war which will at least take a decade to complete.

May be its time for Pakistan to fence the border or increase border Patrol. More Pakistani killed by Afghans will increase Pakistani peoples' anger and things will get ugly if retaliation occurs.
