Afghan Army Chief’s Statement on Durand Line

They have Valid Point since they are talking about agreement of 100 years ( aka Hong Kong ) which has expired.

Pakistan was made for all the muslims of the Indian Subcontinent..but as muslims decided to stay in India, Pkaistan shoudl cease to exist....and even if they exist, they should be no bigger than Nepal.

Pakistan didn't sign the agreement. The agreement was signed between Afghanistan and the British. Why did Afghans sign the deal and cry now. The British are out, Pakistanis are in and this agreement was not signed by us so we have no agreement with Afghanistan.

And Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Blaochistan all decided to be part of Pakistan in a referendum in 1947. Its only Kashmir that was not given a referendum and Kashmir is therefore the only disputed territory in the region.

Afghanistan is an irrevelant country. Troops from a dozen countries are in this so called country doing what they please while regional players use this "country" as a football stadium. Afghans have no right to talk about other countries.

As for Indian Muslims, you keep those dravidians in your own country, it was a big mistake inviting people like Altaf Hussein in our PAK SARZAMEEN.

The Indians forget how badly the Afghan Army was beaten by the tribesmen of Bajaur when they tried to make them act against Pakistan (by trying to bribe them).

This is the reason for all the terrorism in the region. Afghanistan does not respect the international border, & is the reason for all this mess. And the sad thing is, the Afghanis & Afghanistan is the one that is going to suffer the most because of the Afghan establishment's stupidity.

Its more of a reason for Pakistan to support the Afghan Taliban and the Haqqani network.

Pakistan can destroy this ANA and Karzai's government indirectly, and pretend to be friendly with the Afghan government ;)

majority of pathans live in this side of boarder on both sides of river indus..nearly 2 million in karachi alone...

i am living in Peshawar..and anyone will consider such a preposition a joke

so its an very remote possible that afghn pushtoons side join this side but vice versa is a joke, thats the reason the issue being for 50 years has never really bother Pakistan :pakistan:

remeber that nearly 4 million pusthoons that came in soviet era have children who were born ed here..i have friends among them..they are in striking delimma..they vist afg rarely or never and even if they do its like a foreign country to them..because they never truly lived in camps in pakistan but were integrated into society

in nutshell..due to wide spread of pushtoons all over pakistan..its an impossibility that Pakistan will lose its area

Good. That includes Islamabad doesn't it. Let them capture the territory, they'll get a well-made Capital at least!

Specially for the general:

Kashmir is a different issue. Why the referendum did not happen in J&K and why it is in the situation it is today is a different issue. There is whole another thread for this. Let's not bring it here.

Well most of Muhajirs are from Bihar, UP, Madhya Pradesh so they can't be Dravidian they're all Aryans. Drividians are from South. Btw is being a Drividian supposed to be a bad thing?

i will never like to hear a bad word about any afghan, regardless of pushtoon or none pushtoon, but they must realise that our forefathers decided to join pakistan and we will respect and honour that with last drop of blood.

so its pipe dream of indians and others to think that indus is the afghan border, its just a matter of time before afghans come to their senses as we pak pushtoons claim our border to be amu darya.

you mean indo aryans, not pure aryans, those who decided to remain made their choice be it they were muslims or not and we made our choice, we won our freedom from british not from india, as india didnt exist for over 1000 ,years.

this post kind sums up the situation..problem is that indians are sitting in india with idea of ground reality or situation.

a paternal uncle of mine runs a small Engineering consulting group --- they build bridges (literally, not symbolically, lol) of varying type. . .

they had a project in Afghanistan but base of operations and main planning done in Peshawar. The Afghans were crying and b*tching that most of the manpower being used was being imported (from Pakistan). Even some of the equipments and materials (earth-diggers included, since this is before all the donours and investors were rushing in)

so he scaled back on the number of Pakistanis and then hired Afghans -- a 50-50 mix.

the Afghans showed up to work late....consistently....showed attitude. Complained about how long the shifts were...i mean, these guys demonstrated nothing but gross incompetence....almost to the point of creating a dangerous and toxic working environment.

the job got done; but with MUCH difficulty

and the worst part is --- they come to Pakistan -- steal our jobs -- and then act as if we owe em something!!!!!

i feel like Afghanistan is the little brother who needs a lot of discipline and lessons.....maybe even some 'boot camp' to impart some manners and discipline into them. They are brothers, but they are also damn fools sometimes. Led astray by their reckless leaders (I mean warlords) who land them in trouble.

Iranian knew how to deal with refugee crisis effectively. Whereas, we f*cked up big time with our lax oversight.
