Congress and BJP does not have to fullfill their promises . They are dishonest political parties .

After all that is what Kejriwal parrot in every single interviews . AAP is the only honest political party .

So they will have to fullfill what they promised in the said timeline .

If they can't they have no difference from other political parties .

Have they accepted this fact ? then it is very dangerous situation for India. they should immediately step down from all offices. they have no right to be there. and let the others give a chance to serve the people. Unlike AAP, BJP has not made any unrealistic claims. That comes from political experience and wisdom. And also common sense.

does this mean that they have got infinite time line. after 5 years they will again say that give us another chance because we have to fulfill our promise, and again after next 5 years ?? like con gress have been doing all the years. ? and what plan they have for purti gadkari, dinu shooter solanki, anurag thakur, anu tandan, and hundreds of more super star ??

Maybe what the guys did before was preferable. There were times when 100s died in a single night and it was considered 'tragic' but unsurprising. I don't know what the right way is, but the way it was done was not it. You talk about DP still under Centre- guess what Khurana and Dixit made droning noises about it for 20 years and we didn't even know. At least it is now squarely in debate. Lokpal was 'discussed' for 60 years and was brought into law in 4 years after anna began his agitation. You can call them 'anarchic' but that seems to be the only way to push decisions.

Lokpal was introduced by Atal Bihari too, in parliament with proposal to bring PM and MPs under it, but your dear Congress didn't support it.

Oh I can point out that priya modiji has not appointed lokayukta in 9 years too. Fact is, both Congress and BJP were never serious and made a few noises here and there. It was only the Anna agitation that finally got it done.

It's too soon to judge AAP,lets wait till they complete the term and see.They do seem to be a bit naive on some issues related to national importance,especially foreign policy and economy,but in time they will either correct themselves or go down.We should give them as a chance.Even if they aren't very good,they are better than all existing big political parties as far as keeping their election promises is concerned.

Founder member Madhu Bhaduri quits, says AAP not treating women as humans

New Delhi: One of the founding members of Arvind Kejriwal's Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), Madhu Bhaduri, has quit the party alleging mistreatment of the women leaders.

"I have just one issue, and that is humanity. And women are humans. In this party, women are not considered as humans," Ms Bhaduri said.

"The party has a mentality of a khap panchayat. There is no space for women. If the other women leaders have any self-respect, they will quit too. The party has changed for the weight of votes. They just want to elections," she told NDTV.

AAP however has dismissed Ms Bhaduri's allegations. "She has got enough chance in the national executive meet. She was the only member who was called upon stage to talk. It is not necessary for an individual opinion to be party's opinion," AAP's Ashutosh said, adding, "Women are respected the most by the party."

Ms Bhaduri is the second prominent AAP leader to have expressed her dissent openly within just over a month of the party forming a government in Delhi after a spectacular debut in the assembly elections in December.

Vinod Kumar Binny, who was expelled from the party less than a week ago Binny has called for a 'dharna' against the AAP government.

"We are five MLAs in total. Twelve more people are joining us. If the government does not listen to us in 48 hours, then we will have another meeting and decide our next course of action. But we do not intend to do any harm to the Delhi government, Mr Binny said, who is demanding Mr Kejriwal's government delivers all its pre-poll promises on water, electricity and better security for women.

Mr Binny, a former Congressman, was one of AAP's giant-killers in the elections defeating Dr AK Walia, finance minister in the Sheila Dikshit government. He was expelled from the party less than a week ago. This was after Mr Binny had called Mr Kejriwal a "liar" and a "dictator".
