I see the partition in a very simple way. We as Muslims could not live under domination of a bunch of Hindus or "secularists" just to save "India". The whole concept of India had come to an end when British colonialism took over the sub continent. Even today, India is a very racist state. Not only against Muslims but against every other sect and religion. It is full castes and race things. Every thing depends which family you were born in. Eg there are literally neighborhoods which are purpose built and occupants allowed by membership for those who do not eat meat. Living in such a segmented society is frustrating to say the least. Pakistan came out of an idea for freedom. And never freedom should be sacrificed to please others. Jinnah had the vision to see it then. I hope we can continue his vision to future. As for India, there is a good chance it will break up some day. There are simply too many segments in it to be able to survive as a whole.

Sad...is there something like reverse brain drain in Pakistan??i.e people who earlier left actually returning?No...but its here in India!
