It's the economy, increase the tax to GDP ratio to ~15%, decrease import by shifting to cheaper energy sources (hydel, coal) and increase the export to get to surplus level. Then and only then we can take solid stand against the encroachments on our sovereignty.

And how can we do that ?

Correlate NADRA data with finical transactions, bank accounts, etc. That would make tax evasion impossible plus agri income needs to be brought under tax. We are spending ~10 billion on expensive fuel each year, move towards coal and hydel and a big chunk will be saved and with cheaper input cost we'd become competitive to be able to increase exports.

After 1947, we always wanted to be a good neighbor. You did the same for peace in region. But still we don't act like good neighbors. It is because we have Anti-Pakistan and Anti-India elements in both countries and incompetent politicians. More than 90% of Pakistani hate US. They've never brought good to us. If we want to have good relations with each other than we have to exclude all the elements which are disturbing the peace in this region.

Actually Pakistan forget their own father Muhammed Ali Jinnah.May be he played communal card for
partiton .But after partition he wanted a secular pakistan ,that can compete India in economy,science and technology,space,all other field.Fact that after the death of Jinnah pakistan lose their control
No one can fill the void create by the Jinnah.So mullahs and other landlords take it as an opportunity.They also won in that.India initiated land reforms in early 1950's,but pakistan cant do that tillnow.Some elements in your Army , bureaucrats and politicians unwantedly spike out kashmir problem and imaginary Indian threat,For them the eyes is on defence budget.The money that needed for prosperity of poor and innocent pakistanis siphoned out to the defence.If there is any sign in tranquility in border,they provoke India and 4 war is take place after independence.Innocent and patriotic pakistani soldiers died without any reason.Elements in ISI,Army and polticians use Pakistanis patriotism for their own personal gain .They sold out their country to a superpower that can't trust (USA). Same will happen India ,but even if our polticians are corrupted but ultimately they have only aim.longterm national interest of India.Even it may be BJP or congress ,but both and other regions will not surrenderd our national Interest.
Both BJP and Congress take measures for peace with pakistan.But some elements in pakistan will derail that in any way.same happen during vajpayee governance and Pm Manmohan Singh governance and both PM become a joke in front Indians for their attempt for peace treaty with pakistan.Indian Army cant influence our government . But world has still hope about Nawaz Sharif.May be he can gave a good future to pakistan

1) PTI was not objecting to the drone attacks when it was running its election campaign, i mean drone attacks are happening for a long time even your own vice chairman was involved in allowing drones but nothing happened

2) suddenly hakeemullah mehsud died and PTI started talking about issues like drone attacks with more severity

3) if the key issue relating terrorism is drone attacks then why PTI not prioritise stopping drone attacks and not negotiating with talibans?

4) everybody knows that drone attacks are happening with the approval of federal govt, so why did you not pressurise that issue in the assembly?

5) in my view drone attacks should be stopped but then will PTI still carry on patronising the taliban terrorists or will it let army so targeted operation in the tribal areas to clean out terror mess?

6) if our army goes into cleaning this terror mess, america will automatically stop drone strikes

7) your party is very confused and it has done nothing to bring about national consensus and political consensus, your party is just playing cheap politics

I live in Canada. Its part of what we call 'West'.

Canadians dont respect Saudi Arabia or other rich Arab countries at all. Despite the fact the invest billions in these coutries economies, they come and spend millions on vacations and properties.

But they do grudgingly respect Iran. Now go figure why!!

You are right ,I know about our politicians. Actually our parties have registered skin like rhino ,cant tell more than that.But at the end sanity prevails.
Few days our former home secretary G.k Pillai reveal that Davis Coleman Headly is a CIA spy.
He has some mission in India other than LeT 26/11 .So only way pakistanis is to get away from the
hand of USA,otherwise they will destroy your country.India very well know that USA is double edged sword.Use it carefully then you can get some gain,but keep a distance away from it.I think if Pakistan
can stand up against US and oppress some mullahs and devils in your government system ,it can become resilient and can solve problem with India.

That's the whole point, they just threatened and what we did in return? Laid down in front of them without any resistance whatsoever?

Even if we had to go in war under US pressure, we could have done a better deal with them and we could have been at better situation by now. Mushi just completely submitted the country to US.
