A Chinese Virtue Is Now the Law

Yeah, this is a serious problem, the family need successors...damn, I forget!

My father and mother have 4 children. I'm the eldest, i have a younger sister who is 27, a younger brother who is 21, and the youngest is 15. Our sister is the darling of my parents, but it is us the 3 sons that will continue our Family Lineage. Especially the Family Name.

Yes. I will tell you.
The problem is that the one who control birth is wife. She will be very tried, and very painful for each birth.
I have to persuade wife for next child. I
It is not wise to force or intimidate wife for the next child because she can always eat some pills without notifying you.
It takes me 3 years to persuade my wife for 3rd kid. Now she agreed. But now she is 37 years old. So its not easy anymore. I've been working hard (like 6-7 times a month LoL) for my 3rd kid for 8 months now. But still not come.

My advice if you want 4 children: Have your 1 child when your wife is 26-28.

That's a good advice @somsak . My father always stress to me to find a Japanese woman to marry. He is very big into keeping the blood pure, but my mother is more open minded. lol.

lol, Mr.渡边! What's that character below 渡边?Is it 家?

You have a happy family, all the best to you all.

^^ Arigaodou Gozaimasu, Chen-Senpai !

It is so hard to find a Japanese here in New Jersey. Only so many Italian-Americans, German-Americans, Irish-American haha!

If I marry a 外国人 [外侨], well...i hope my father accepts !!!

:laughcry:

PS. What about you? Planning to marry soon ?

Yes, Japanese tend to stay home, fewer going abroad, I find. The most are Indians, followed by Chinese, then comes the Koreans.

I am only 24, I will wait for the destined one, but it takes time. :coffee:

I am surprise to see Japanese 渡边 use the simplified/行草/script/cursive form for 边 instead of 邊.
All the words in there are written in script calligraphic form so maybe Japanese like that form.

Wife age : married at 24-25
1st child : 25
2nd child : 28
3rd child : 31
4th child : 34
or 1st child 26-27
2nd child 29-30
3rd child 32-33

stop giving birth after 35 yo

Good! I always advocate procreation for East and South East Asia people.
Your family logo is very cool. It looks like 3 eyes smiling face.

Filial Piety in China

Qingming Festival is when Chinese people visit the graves or burial grounds of their ancestors.

The Qingming Festival is an opportunity for celebrants to remember and honor their ancestors in their ancestral tombs. Young and old pray before the ancestors, sweep the tombs and offer food, tea, wine, chopsticks, joss paper accessories, and/or libations to the ancestors. The rites have a long tradition in Asia, especially among farmers. Some people carry willow branches with them on Qingming or put willow branches on their gates and/or front doors. They believe that willow branches help ward off the evil spirit that wanders on Qingming.
