yes..govt should act against mullaha's and khap panchayat's who indirectly dictates and interfere on helpless individual's life and freedom. all laws are made to make life better, protects one's freedom, some times the same laws become a protection for the oppressor and an obstacle to take action against the oppressor.Law is not intelligent, it cannot discriminate but men who enforce the law are intelligent, they should be able the play within the limits of law for the good.. or bend the law.
