What's new

3 Chinese warships reach Ctg Port on goodwill visit

China should wait till it has a CBGs with 100,000 tonne nuclear carriers, Type-055 cruisers and Type-095SSNs and then India will really have a reason to clamour about "Chinese threat" once these are sent into IOR.

Cheerleading aren't we ? Don't forget that Indian naval capabilities are also growing.

. . .
Yes but Chinese is growing far faster.
Indian Navy will be bullied by Chinese in
IOR next decade.
Kindly add the names of Pakistan, Bangladesh, Myanmar + SEA Nations, in the list. Please read the book titled "Clash of Civilizations and Remaking of the World Order" written by Samuel Huntington, once a CIA handbook, where he correctly clearly reflects the fault Line, divide.

Not worth remembering...

However quickly the Chinese capabilities grow, they will not be able to bring their entire fleet to the IR. A Navy with 3-4 CBGs by 2030 is enough to thwart any Chinese threat.

Yeah right lol

China will probably send a CSG comprising 1 100,000 tonne nuclear carrier, 1 80,000 tonne conventional carrier, escorted by Type-55 cruisers and Type-095SSN to IOR in the latter half of the 2020s. Just this CSG will be far more powerful than the whole of your Navy which will have 2 tiny 40,000 tonne and maybe a single 65,000 tonne carrier.

Sure, a CBG with 2 carriers lol. Lest you forget, IOR is still our pond & the Chinese are yet to commission their first operational carrier which could take two years further (Russian one is a training vessel). By the time they have a conventional carrier battle group in the IOR, we'll have three.

Two to three 45-55K tonne & a 65K tonne nuclear carrier supported by P17A, P15B or follow on destroyers escorted by 7000 tonne SSNs are more than enough to deter any Chinese task group in the region.

Just this CSG will be far more powerful than the whole of your Navy

Says who ?

The little girl was born at Chinese naval hospital ship (PLAN ‘Peace Ark’) in November 2010. During the ship's first visit to Bangladesh, doctors of the ship saved a dying pregnant woman with congenital heart disease. After emergency operations, the woman safely gave birth to a baby girl, her father named the baby "Chin". 23rd of May 2017, now 6 years old "Chin" is once again in the arms of one of those doctors who helped bring her to this world.

That's pretty amazing!
