Confirmed: Got told by someone active in Paf that Su-30 got hit by a Amraam missile but still managed to land on their base as its 2nd engine was still functional and declared damaged beyond repair and -1 from their inventory.

Kind of surprised that Su30 pilots managed to keep that plane from crashing and kept the plane in air despite a direct proximity hit, considering the chicken hearts of most Indian pilots who rush to eject as soon as the shit goes south!

When abhinanadan saw su-30 hit by an ammaram he exchanged the mig-21 engine with the damaged one of Su-30 and helped the pilot land successfully.. now abhinanadan will be nominated for another medal of bravery

Completely made up story as always without an iota of proof.
All that the Sukhoi had to do to evade the AIM-120 was turn cold and it turned out be more than suffice since AMRAAM was launched from over 40 km and Su 30 was far outside NEZ & MAR.

They have some really good pilots. It's maintainers which sucks.

Indian HAL is known for its low quality license production line which was evident from its high MiG crash rates.
Interestingly the Spice-2000 used in Balakot was also assembled in India which may be the very reason for failure of these bombs

Sure and you were in the sky witnessing all that.

Your Sukhoi got tagged and is -1 from your inventory. Kudos to the Pilots to still make it land somehow tho!

Then why did PAF claim it as a kill? Between the mig-21, the SAR helo and the rajouri strikes, I don't think PAF needs to fabricate a kill. They already proved their mettle.
