22 UAE soldiers killed in Yemen missile attack

Yea, but where are they getting those so easily?
sir jee Yemen army have them and today Yemen army and huthis are together united force . in thier videos they said yemen army fired missile . Yemen army got them from USSR - Russia and north Korea

The long term prognosis for Saudi Arabia's campaign in Yemen is not great. This is regardless if Houthis and their allied army soldiers are bombed to oblivion.
You said it yourself. Anyone that has entered ground in Yemen have left with a blooded nose.
But the difference here is that those countries or empires were not next door to Yemen. KSA is, and therefore the longer this goes on the more dangerous it becomes for Saudi Arabia. Seeing as how Yemen is a country with large population, the effects of spillover can have disastrous consequences for the kingdom. Im sure you will agree

Yes, everything that happens in Yemen resurrects with greater volume in KSA than anywhere else which is neutral. I would agree with your notion if the Houthi's had the support of the vast majority of the Yemenis (the reality is that it's totally opposite) or if the Houthi's and the old crook (Ali Abdullah Saleh) had any longterm visions for Yemen that could make it great again. I don't see that happening.

Yemen will continue to be hugely dependant on KSA for aid, remittances (largest Yemeni diaspora outside the ancient/old one in Indonesia) is found in KSA and Yemen will remain a backyard of KSA. Both parties are bound to eventually cooperate for the betterment of the region. I don't see it any other way. House of Saud, Saleh, Houthi's or not.

In case you missed the classes in geography, Yemen is right next door to KSA. Therefore the chances of spillover (in the long term) are very real and should be taken seriously.

I think you are reading too much IMF, there is a whole thread dedicated to a Saudi 'uprising', each day people there asking themselves will Saudi regime 'burn' , 'collapse' , etc... :D

yemni army had 10 launchers in their inventory
some are already neutralized boss

Yemen is divided, some of army members oppose Houthis some side with them. Almost all ground troops are Yemenis who recieved arms, some got trained and deployed. They have more support than pro-Houthi crowd but not enough arms.
Is there a reference that the opposing forces have more support. It is very hard to find any from the sources I am looking at. Every side is saying the people are with them but I haven't been able to find reliable independent sources confirming it.

I dont know where you get off with your pissy little attitude. I dont go to IMF. That place is full of idiots. Just like PDF lol

There was an analysis recently that half of KSA ground forces are from Yemeni descendants and that will have effect on long term? Also Najran and south of KSA is very much in hands of tribes that are passionate about their Yemeni brethren. If correct as it goes on sout of KSA would be more and more in trouble.

This is pure nonsense. People of Southern KSA (Najran, Jazan) are not Yemenis but have always been an separate entity. They have had their own dynasties (Imamates, sultanates) but for most of history they were under the rule/authority of the Sharif of Makkah. When not the Zaydi Imam of Yemen. In any case most Arabians simply consider Arabia as one and the same entity anyway just today (like in the past) made up by various entities/separate states. I do at least and so do most people from the region. We don't really look at each other as foreigners. It's more of a modern concept based on nationality. Likewise I won't ever consider an Basrawi (person from Basra in Iraq) for instance as an foreigner.

Quite a few Saudi Arabians have Yemeni origin (along with Egyptian, Shami, Iraqi, non-Arab, 10% Afro-Arab etc. - KSA is a very diverse society in that aspect which many outsiders don't know about) but those are mostly found in Hijaz (especially Jeddah) and they are mainly from Hadhramaut. The Hadhrami diaspora is one of the biggest in the world and you have millions of Indonesians, Malaysians, Indians, Africans on the Swahili Coast, people on the Arabian Peninsula (mostly Hijaz and UAE) of Hadhrami origin.

You can read more about this here.

Hadhrami people - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Hadhramaut - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Those people were mostly seafarers hence why they migrated so much.

Regarding people of Najran and Jazan then it is correct that they share a lot with Northern Yemenis (dialect, tribes, clans, sect, etc.) but you can say the same about people of Southern Iraq and Northern + Eastern KSA and large areas of Najd and people of Egypt + Sham and those from Hijaz. Same with people in Western/Northern Iraq and Eastern Syria etc. There are countless of such examples all across the Arab world.

You can relate to that as an Iranian when looking at your Iranian Arab minority + nearby Southern Iraq and GCC, Baloch's in Pakistan and Afghanistan, Kurds in Northwestern Iran and those in Northern Iraq + Azeris in Northern Iran and Azerbaijan + Turkmen in Northeastern Iran and Turkmenistan + people of Khorasan and people of Herat (Western Afghanistan). Hope you get the point.

Few nephew was in yemen too with uae army but he was back safely thank ALLAH

Happy to here about that. War/conflict is crap in either way. Too much of it in the Muslim world of late.

That's true. King Abdullah and the Jordanian government also have better ties with the current Iraqi regime (although their relations with the GCC and Egypt are improving). It's funny. No matter who ruled Iraq (from the time of Hashemite rule in Iraq too) to today, Iraq and Jordan have always had cordial/good ties on a government level. More than any other neighboring country.
On a government level, yes. Even with the government that overthrew the Hashemites, the king put it behind him because Iraq is so important (much more so back in the day). I wish I could say it was the same on a people level but that's just not the case. In large part due to sectarianism in the 21st century. The point is most Iraqis hate Jordan and more and more Jordanians are starting to hate Iraqis. This won't help anyone but hate makes people blind I guess. Though I'm glad that the Iraqi government is sensible enough to have good relations with Jordan.

They sure know how to create suspense over there :D
What is IMF? International Monetary Fund? Probably not what you're talking about..

Imran you lived in KSA for years so I expect you to be somewhat familiar with the immediate region. You speak Arabic too if I am not mistaken.

The Yemeni army is not united anymore at all. It's now divided into fractions. Those which are pro-Saleh (he is now allied with the same Houthi's that he fought against for almost 20 years, lol what an insane region) and those who are pro-Hadi, pro-South and anti-Houthi/Saleh.

The pro-Saleh army is in the minority in terms of numbers (by far) but they are the by far best armed fraction though due to the over 30 year old bribing network that Saleh has put in place. Read post 56.

@Daneshmand seems to be in good mood today..not negatively rating anyone or is it because someone has not uttered a word so far against Iran ?:D

I got 3 negative ratings from him yesterday. I am surprised that I have not received numerous today. Maybe it will come.

@ResurgentIran

So how is Mr. Ostrich doing of late?:D

number of UAE troops killed in Yemen is raised to 45, news on Google news

Yeah I noticed it. I was going through your posts and there was nothing as such in bad taste to negatively rate them. He just got the powers and he is misusing them. Iran has its fault and if talking about them is a crime then everyone will do that. This is a Pakistan forum, our forum. No one can suppress our voice here just like they do in their country.
