2 Syrian jets shot down by Turkey

.
It is effective system. Even buk missile is effective system. I saw buk missile shoot down Israeli F-16 but Turkish pilots are better bad boz they can take it down.

It was determined to be pilot error rather than shot down. No direct hit either.

Of course if Erdogan had the F-35, taking on S-300 would have been much easier....but he chose Russia as allies and lost the F-35.

. . .
those S-200 radars are on already to monitor Israel and unlike phased array radar they cover 360 degree and more importantly they are very long range

that's a technical point of view . and yes we salvage every piece of aircraft , but syria don't do that

Turkey and Israel are activelly using jammers before striking the SAM system. Our minister visited Koral team to congratulate the crew for their success.

.
Would Turks dare to go there?
Damascus they can and will if they want to. Latakia they wont hit Russian Bases there Everything else there is free real estate they have been hitting Latakia by Artillary Rockets for days now. Putin cant save Assad no matter how much he tries.

I want Turks to take Aleppo but thats just my wish so far except the commanding Officer of Turkish Second Army Lt. Gen. Sinan Yayla no one has made Public Remarks about taking Aleppo i dont know how much influence he holds in Their Military Apparatus.

Plus Erdogan is the Wildcard here his love Affair with Putin has never made sense to me.

While we are all in support of our Turk brothers in their defensive war against the illegal Syrian regime, one must ponder on the events that lead to the current grave situation where Muslims are fighting against Muslims. Western powers (on behalf of Israel) wanted to destroy Syria (not really just toppling its regime) and possibly create a situation where Syrian C&B weapons might be used against a Muslim country. They created militias, supported them, and created a civil war like situation in that unfortunate country. After creating huge mess, setting the whole region on fire, and dragging Russians in the war, Americans just exited the war zone. Obviously Turkey, having millions of Syrian refugees, had deep stakes in the stability of Syria. But that stability could not (and still can not) be achieved as long as Asad regime is there in the country unless you leave tens of millions of populace in the butcher house of Asad. Unfortunately, Russians and Iranians want the Asad regime stand up even if that means more bloodshed. Now that Turkey has ended up deep in the mess in Syria (just like Pakistan was suffering because of the bloody game of foreign powers in Afghanistan), Turks need to directly hit the Asad regime bringing it down to the knees for a political solution in the country. Unfortunately I don't see any other way out of the current situation.

when two muslims fight each other it is always saddening. feeling sorry both for turkey and syria. weakening each other and both get weakened the enemy will eat them both.

.
Hmmm so we were discussing about Pakistan having Panstir and/BUK Air Defences for its Army Formations and Navy Ships. Looks like.....
Man behind the weapon is important.

Indians in f35 could not out fight a Pakistani in f16. Its the man and training he has got. Weapon is just a tool. You need skill to use it.

I agree we need and end to this brainless escalation and peace should prevail cause Syrian losing 2 jet is nothing to the problems that civilians will face on ground due to this escalation. I hope some ceasefire is achieved.

In the wake of current events in my opinion I hold Assad responsible for this new shit show. For past few days Syria was become a some what stable and then suddenly news came about SAA just 800 meters from Turkish post and then it all started. I agree it is Syrian land and turkey should withdraw but turkey has stakes in Syria which are real stakes and those stakes cannot be denied. Those are Turkmen and they should be defended from precicuation. There has to be a diplomatic way to this all. Taking over with war is no solution which SAA thinks it can achieve.

Funny that you guys suddenly come up with peace, where have you been for weeks when defenseless Turkish soldiers were attacked?

Dont look for others to blame,it is us Muslims who are to blame for the mess in the Muslim world.
We fight each other for ridiculous reasons,we deserve it.
