Waziristan (north and south) are the two districts of KPK covering 4.5 k sq miles. Total population in the two district is +1.2 millions.

A total of 470,000 people were displaced due to military operations to neutralize terrorist camps nurturing in Waziristan. Out of these 100,000 were displaced to Afghanistan.

Majority of people living in Waziristan do not hate Pakistan or Pakistan Army. There are many soldiers and officers belonging to these two districts currently serving in Pakistan Armed Forces.

Although leaders of PTM and TTP are from Waziristan, but it does not mean that all people of Waziristan are traitors or terrorists or disloyal.

GoP and military leadership should take two pronged actions.

1. Neutralize all TTP and PTM terrorist elements.
2. Nurture Pakistan friendly political, social and economical system by providing health care, education, electricity, transportation, communication, security, law and order, and government civic facilities.

We must realize that enemy can only penetrate inside our ranks, if there is injustice in the system. It is the responsibility of country's leadership to purge out injustice from the system. I realize that it is a difficult task but definitely not impossible.
