2 Indian soldiers, 2 militants die in an ongoing clash in Kashmir.

Oh please buddy, do you think members of this forum are idiots, a country will make a law prohibiting the slaughtering of farm animals, No one does this in the world, that is actually weird if its true, why was beef banned, why wasn’t lamb and chicken banned if this law exists, let me tell you , because Hinduism considers Cow a holy animal, the intent and motivation of this move was religious , I respect all religions, if you want to ban it please go ahead do it in Hindu majority areas, but shoving these values down the throat of people of another religion betokens that even your judiciary is safronized and biased against muslims !!!

Many countries have rules on what they can slaughter & eat, it varies according to culture. Granted Hinduism does consider the cow holy, but so what. The law you referred to predates Indian independence and it exists on the books in J&K. This law applies nowhere else. The judges don't have a choice, they just asked for the implementation of the law. If the law has to be changed, that is the job of the legislature, not the judiciary.

As for you respecting all religions, how much you do that is reasonably clear by your posts. If you arguing that restrictions in any religion should not apply to others, it would only be fair that you use the same yardstick when you refer to French or Danish cartoonists drawing cartoons etc. After all such restrictions should only be applicable to those following the Islamic faith, should it not? I see almost no one making that argument. So it is okay to hurt sentiments of Hindus by slaughtering an animal that they consider holy but it is not okay when Muslim sentiments are hurt? Pick the argument that you prefer. India prefers to use a middle way where the government tries to ensure (as much as is practical) that religious sentiments of any faith should not unnecessarily be hurt.

Either India will run out of bullets or pakistanis will run out of people to send over. Indian army should start hanging up their bodies on loc fence as a msg on both sides, (Next Is You).

. .
The way you are correcting it, is causing them to raise Pakistani flags, you're exacerbating the problem !!!

Unko Haram Ka khana khane ki adat ho gayi hai. We spend 7 time per capita compared to what we spend else where. They uses pressure tactics to get more. They need to be shown their place.

all of u guys support CMDR Burhan, and work on out of the box ideas to rot them in hell.
Why don't you leave your cozy house and cross loc and then try working out of box. But then again have to see if you get a box in the end at all. Easier telling others then doing it.

. . . .
And we'll kill more them and last time I did headcount we're more. Kidding :P
Anyways on a serious note I'm sure we'll find a way to integrate them into our society.
Two nation theory.
Muslims and hindus cannot live together.
You ban beef in kashmir, they are sacrificing cows openly and sharing videos on multimedia.
Level of rule violation against regional power.
:-)

Again you're viewing it with a wrong prism, Kashmir is a muslim majority state, if majority of other states decide to ban beef, its their right but in Kashmir the demographics are different, it is being shoved down their throats !!!

Just as long as it is someone else making the sacrifice......I'm sure Pakistan will fight vigorously to the last Kashmiri.......
We are already engaged in war against terrorism.
I think local kashmiris are enough to ruin your sleeps.

Yes we support him.

The law is a state law, nothing to do with anyone else stuffing it down their throats. It of course predates independence but that is an issue for the state government to decide. They can amend it if they want to & can muster up a majority.

The problem is & I don't know whether you realise it, no one is losing sleep. India is a huge country & this is at best a marginal issue. It doesn't really have much impact, not even the occasional "major" strike.
