What's new

2 Indian soldiers, 2 militants die in an ongoing clash in Kashmir.

The problem is & I don't know whether you realise it, no one is losing sleep. India is a huge country & this is at best a marginal issue. It doesn't really have much impact, not even the occasional "major" strike.
You consider Kashmir integral part of India, then why your government is failed to impose rules against them, like beef ban, ban on Fajar Azan etc?

There is no beef ban rule as a central law, some states have them, other do not.

:disagree:
The J&K High Court has directed the government to strictly enforce the ban on sale of beef in the state. The court direction came in a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) filed by a Jammu resident. The slaughter of bovines and sale of beef is banned in Jammu and Kashmir since the pre-Partition era when the then princely state was ruled by the Dogra rulers. In the Dogra era, the ban was strictly enforced across the state.

Err... Did you read what you have posted? That is a state law applying only to J&K. As I pointed out in many posts, it is up to the state government to change the law if it wants. The centre can make no laws because this is a state subject.

Doesn't matter. The state government has the power to change the law. Otherwise it stands. Just like India(& Pakistan) have many laws carried over from the time of the British.
