So Dr. fazlay rabbi and dr. alim were jahil intellectuals??

how many intelliculas were for pakistan creation and how many were against it? its about opinion you will never know what was in their hearts as God knows the best the secreats of the hearts.i dont know them may be they were good muslims.

you should try to read 1971 stories of liberation fighters, their actions, details of their days in these nine months.. There are plenty of books on this.. From these books you will get to know the war was basically over at the end of november....

I think you need to broaden the view a little over here.I am in no way undermining the feats of the Mukti bahini, they fought on the ground where it matters.Indian Army just maintained the pressure on Pakistani forces and finally managed supremacy on land. The fall of Dhaka can be a significant example.Apart from that,India ensured that there be no resupply through the sea-route.Also,you are forgetting the International scenario.USA was a staunch ally of Pakistan and was in no mood to see East Pakistan fall. They had even sent their own warships to assist Pakistan.Without, the involvement of Indian army, the situation could have ended in a stalemate at most, with the better trained and supplied Pakistani army ultimately gaining supremacy and control, not to mention thousand more would have died in the process. With Indian intervention, the process was quick and without loss of any more lives.

You are really lucky when comes to Islam and it's culture. We are not so lucky.

LMAO Islam and it's culture in Bangladesh? loool I thought Bangla culture was all about wearing sari in that specific Bengali way, Wearing Bindi, Speaking Bangla and reading Bangla literature [all Hindu traditions.]

In fact this is what Ayub Khan had to say about Bangladesh.
"Ayub Khan said, as late as 1967, "East Bengalis... still are under considerable Hindu culture and influence."[24] But, the deaths led to bitter feelings among East Pakistanis, and they were a major factor in the push for independence."

Please correct me. Am I missing something or are you the one living in denial of truth?

Let me ask you a question and give me a honest answer.

Do you really like these so called Tagore loving Islamic name Jahil intelectual. if You like them then I feel sorry for you. May Allah give you Hadya. Pak army was right to get rid off some of them othwerwise Bangladesh would have been sunk in Jahiliyya.

We should build a something to honor those Brave solder that wipe out some Jahil from our land.

You still didn't answer my question ;)

I could care less about the legacy of Tagore since I am not a great fan of all that stuff. He has his contribution toward the Bangla language. And since Bangla is the official language of today's Bangladesh, it is worthy to give him credit.

And I could care less about the circular logic behind whose version of history is correct.

All I want is the truth. That is what Allah insists on. Anything short of that is all falsehood and propaganda.

Although, I find it ironic that the All India Muslim League was created in Dhaka. And here we are now, a Bangladesh founded on 'socialist' principles. Irony.

Although, I accept that many questions are unanswered with regards to 1971 and beyond ranging from the assassination from our great Ziaur Rahman to the Pilkhana tragedy.

disputes are solved between political leadership or ur army chef decides your political decisions?

No,the army chief is in a routine visit. It is not for the first time that the army chief of one country is visiting another country.Read some news.So far as the decision making part is concerned, well that sounds hypocritical coming from a Pakistani. You are from a country which has a history of four military coup in a span of 64 years, not India.

Socialism is not what you can call anti to religion can you??I think it has provisions for one practicing his own religion, but it does not support organizations based on religion.

matter of fact that Sharee is losing popularity now. . . Middle class and rich Women wear it rarely and occasionally. . . Bindi is just confined to Hindus now! Unfortunately today new generation of girls in Bangladesh are heading to Scarf culture.. . . .Sad

Why sad? Dont you want to be purer?

(West) Pakistan has made a lot of mistakes, and 1971 was just the end of a long discriminating process, cemented in every West Pakistani psyche.
I'm glad for the Bangladeshis that then-East Pakistan separated - even if a more peaceful way than '71 would have been preferable - and may God punishes the Yahya Khans and co. as it should be.
To be honest, I don't think that Muhammad Ali Jinnah and Muhammad Iqbal really had today's Bangladesh in their 'Pakistan' plan, apart from the religion, there were too many differences.

Well, time to move on.

May God bless all Bangladeshis.
