What's new

175 countries to get E-Visa, 50 countries to get Visa-on-Arrival, Foreign Indians included too!

While I am open allowing foreign visitors to tourism in Pakistan,i am not too sure if its a good idea allowing Indians with foreign passports to enter Pakistan, while at the same its notoriously difficult even for British Pakistani's to obtain an Indian visa, one of my cousin applied for an indian visa few years ago, the indian embassy kept on delaying and delaying then eventually gave up.

Pakistan needs to impose heavy fines on people throwing trash and litter everywhere, need to put waste bins to keep the environment clean and protect precious forests from timber mafia's

. . . .
Keep in mind guys PTI used to call PML N sellouts, traitors when their leaders met Modi. But now PTI is opening the borders to Indians, allowing visits, next will be allowing them to do business, and investment and blame PML N and PPP for it lol

.
Excluding India, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, and Bhutan rest all are welcome to apply.

Bhutan?!
I guess you meant Nepal.
Bhutan is a peaceful country which doesn't allow mass tourism and I don't think they would come to Pakistan in big numbers anyway. It's on my bucket list to go there.

PS. Off-topic There is a theory out there that if ALL world borders are removed then eventually humanity will figure out a level of prosperous co-existence. It used to be like that for most of our existence. Yes, there will be a lot of friction initially but things will be sorted out. People are people: ALL human beings have the same potentials when they are born--just need right circumstances.

Besides the obvious security risks, This is normalizing people-to-people relations, which then nullifies the whole purpose of partition; ie if Hindu Indians and Muslims Pakistanis can really get along on a people-to-people level then there is no need for partition, military spending and Muslim-Hindu divide, AKA two nation theory.

One cannot be demanding Kashmir from Indians on one side and then sing songs of friendship and love on the other. Its retarded frankly speaking.
Is that really bad? I mean, I don't give a rat's *** about akhand stuff, but just because we were enemies at one point doesn't mean we have to stay enemies forever. If every issue that plagues our relation with each other were rectified tomorrow, would you still want to stay enemies just cause our countries were divided on dispute?

No, I meant "Bhutan" just because those midgets only nod to their Indian masters.

Right, and the goals of partition included giving muslims free choice to join pakistan, which has been denied to Kashmiris.

These Indophile initiatives are a insult to Kashmiris who pin their hopes in pakistanis.

Not sure who made the point your addressing, but the real concern is you can't control what people will do with their money. And these NRI indians who's investments PTI is seeking , along with other questionable foreign donors will have their own agenda.

Secondly, this initiative undermines the whole narrative of partition as I already pointed out because if Indians are just normal people who should be allowed to visit Pakistan then what is wrong with them possessing Kashmir? How can you paint them as enemies/oppressors on one hand and then normal people on the other hand? You can't have a dual stance, its retarded to say the least.

And today it is NRI Indians, tomorrow it will be Indian nationals from India itself, and the day after partition will be put into question. Simple.

Do you even know what you are talking about?

If I said something wrong feel free to counter it.

Okay, but why are you taking issue with me on this?

The reality of Pakistanis hating India (& vice versa) for oppressing Kashmir is not my creation.

If your concern is the "hatred" then why don't you and those who agree with you do the world a favor and advocate for disarming Pakistan's army and denuclearization and accept LoC as defacto international border and let the world move on so you can make your money off of Indian tourists. :coffee:
And this is why we Pakistanis need to accept current status quo LoC as international border. We need to move on. We have lost Kashmir. It is history.

There is so much economic and financial potential in allowing Indian tourists in Pakistan. There is so much money to be made in having friendly ties with India and honestly Kashmir is insignificant. We need to withdraw our soldiers from LoC and the Indian border.

Also, as someone who wants to see Pakistan economically prosperous I support foreign investment from anyone, including Indians. We should also build casinos, strip clubs and legalize prostitution and every form of gambling.

Just look at Thailand they make so much money from sex tourism every year worth billions. There is so much potential!

Only we are holding ourselves back here. But good thing IK and PTI are finally making strides in this direction.

Hold on. This makes no sense. Two nation theory’s major purpose was to have freedom and own identity. It didn’t mean at all to have hatred for people of neighbor country once it’s divided into two countries.

We do need to have peace with India for the betterment of Pakistan. Problem is Indian state doesn’t apparently want to have peace in region for various reasons.

But to see a progressive Pakistan, Peace with neighbor countries is one of the key.
Well said. I could not have said it any better!

.
so which cities do indians Plan to visit?

apart from the displaced Partition folks, what other Motivation drives the pilgrimage to Pakistan

.
They allow overseas Pakistanis to visit so why shouldnt NRI be allowed? Partition doesnt mean you act you stop normal contact with people.
Exactly! It's time we put the guns down and start making our money. We all need it.

why do You make the unwarranted connection between prosperity of Pakistan with peace/trade with India?

Pakistan need not trade with India to prosper.

We are Not living in 1958
