Does 15th Khordad and other Sayyad,Talaash AD system really have any capabilities against Ballistic missile?

yes the have some capabilities as they have there own radar they rely on infrared sensors to do that but they wore built to hit aerial target like fighters mostly but Sayyad 4 is more capable for ballistic and semi ballistic missiles.

radars like these Iranian missiles but only bigger

I knew , You believe comparing 15th khordad with PAC-3 is wrong but because PAC even PAC-1 eat 15th Khordad alive not because they have different mission..
PAC-3 interceptor class emerged from 20+ years of investments, experiments, trials and battlefield-related experiences around the world.

PATRIOT SAVES LIVES BY DOWNING MORE THAN 100 BALLISTIC MISSILES IN COMBAT

Since January 1st, 2015, Raytheon's Patriot integrated air and missile defense system has shot down more than 100 tactical ballistic missiles in combat operations around the world. More than 90 of those intercepts involved the low-cost Raytheon made Guidance Enhanced Missile family of interceptors. Patriot employs multiple interceptor missiles to destroy ballistic and cruise missiles, aircraft and drones. Guidance Enhanced Missiles work by flying at extremely fast speeds to close with the threat and detonating a blast-fragmentation warhead at precisely the right moment. "No single interceptor is a silver bullet," said Tom Laliberty, Raytheon vice president of Integrated Air and Missile Defense. "Using a mix of defensive missiles increases cost-effectiveness and gives commanders operational flexibility to choose the right interceptor at the right time."

P6L-3

The Army fired a salvo of two Patriot PAC-3 CRI missiles at a short-range aerodynamic ballistic missile target during the PDB-6 LUT flight test P6L-3 in October 2006. The first CRI intercepted and killed the target at the expected ground range and altitude. The second CRI missile self-destructed as planned.

HISTORY OF COMPLEX TRIALS

PAC-3 interceptor class have taken care of a wide variety of challenging targets during the course of its trials [maneuverable; cruise; supersonic; hypersonic; terrain-hugging; whatever...], results are self-explanatory.

What is the legacy of 15th khordad in comparison?

Show us what 15th khordad can do and/or what type of trials it was subjected to. Any videos?

Really tall theoretical claims like these:

"Radar: Najm 804 AESA radar/Control Station , range 150 km against fighter jets and drones and helicopters and bombers and 85 km range against ballistic missiles and stealth cruise missiles and stealth fighter jets and stealth bombers, tracking and engaging 6 targets simultaneously."

- is why people roll their eyes. Show us.

Let just say it has been tested against quasi ballistic missiles and drones. And who said it can't fire several missiles against one target ,when they test it against a quasi balistic missile they used more than one missile.

PAC is a matured system with billions spent on its development and improvements. Iran has just stepped into this arena it will take them at least another decade to build a reliable system capable of intercepting with high success rate. Needless to say Iran is marching toward the right direction of a indigenously developed defense systems but this is just a start.
What about our previous air defence system which were based on MIM-23 , SA-11 or SA-5 (Ghareh which is based of this system is more advance than russian version and is fully digitalized )
We start work on Systems based on MIM-23 more than 30 years ago . don't you think that gave us enough experience ?

What's the point of this thread !? (And similar threads)

Only in a real battle we can tell how effective our systems are ... So please stop opening such threads !

maybe to introduce them to any one maybe from Syria or Iraq or others that do not have the money for US or Russian systems.

i think its good

Introducing military hardware here is only good for foreign intelligence agencies !

And who said Iranian systems are cheap !?

Yeah ... Cheaper than American systems but still expensive enough for most countries !

yes but still cheaper than systems from US, Russia, China

With one significant difference, these prototype do materialise and fly.
Any chance of Iranian one flying!!!
I don't think so. Even the Air Frame's safety would be in serious doubt. I bet.
well at least iranian prototype performed taksi tests while all these prototypes are either conceptual model or just plastic.
