From which source the generated electricity would be added? No new plant/site has become operational?

any info on the source of the addition ????

new power plants or renovated the previous ones ????

if we go behind his claims he added some 923469MW until now
actually what this only means is The Government would pay the oil companies to buy oil and increase the production. There are various plants in Pakistan that are not running on its potential simply due to the reason that we generate electricity on losses. It's a temporary increase in electricity which we can do anytime

It is funny how these announcements are made each month how 1000's Megawatts is added to National Grid andyet it does not make a dent in Shortfall and Load shedding continues as usual.

pakistan can generate 16000-18000 mw of energy out of 23,000 on stalled capacity, if it allocates gas/furnace oil or payoff every penny to IPPs
real problem is greater price and importantly 30-40 line lossess.

Is it even possible to add a 1000MW in 24 hrs? If I am not wrong, its a step by step process, synching the production with the transmission lines.

From IPPs and restart of furnace oil based plants which have been inactivated for producing high-cost electricity,

Pakistan Does not need new power plants
what it needs to do is make proper utilization of its installed capacity and it will no longer have power outages
India's Installed capacity is estimated at 220 GW compared to Pakistan's 23.5 GW
But India is able to use 80% of its installed capacity while pakistan only uses 55% of its installed capacity
if Pakistan has similar utilization as India, then it will not have any powercuts

They have made some payments to IPPs so they in return increased electricity production. It will go back to business as usual after Protest Jalsa by imran khan.
