What's new

10 Terrorists incl imp Commander killed in Balochistan | ISPR |Feb 2022 .

Planned to disfigure others, got disfigured and dismembered themselves. Good going Pak army! Keep these operations coming every day. Also work on ghaddars in our lines!

.
BLA overplayed their hand when they constantly attacking Army and FC, now they will be hunted like pigs, what's most amazing in all this that PA and our boys are not losing their men, good job and keep going, we need to remove this filth from Pakistan once and for all.

We should have a balanced view of this. As satisfying as it may be for some, quite macabre in my view for the general population to be exposed to this, most of these are our own people, misled by their sardars and puppet masters. One should have a little empathy as in most cases it is some poor bastard who ended up dying for a cause he was misled to by others (who escape punishment).

However, I would much rather they die than our own troops and civilians.
Keep posting, man. You may do some good to the jingoistic majority here.

It's not jingoism.Since 1971, "Punjabi" army has been blamed for war against ethnicities. We have been hearing the PTM scum berating the army even now for "violence against Pashtuns" and Hamid mir types saying that "Army is throwing people off helicopters in Baluchistan". All this leads to demoralization and the real attacks against the army get by. No more sitting around. Plaster them to the wall and drink their blood from a boot.

You didn't say this on that Kech attack thread

Heart broken by death of "good terrorists"???
Say what? Ask him to keep writing?

So stop being stupid and devolve power to local governments. Break down provinces into smaller units. The perception exists because of the disproportionate accumulation of power in the hands of a few agriculturalists from Punjab. The fact that the division of provinces is on ethnic lines does not help the situation either.

Shifting from an agricultural economy to an industrial economy would also lead to better inclusion of other peoples in the national economy. Military operations only provide temporary relief to a problem that is very complex. The people who support dissent are genuinely disenfranchised. True empowerment of the people is the only solution.

Really..That's your solution?? Throw more money at the problem?? The baloch sardars are filthy rich times n already and after 18th amendment, they have become "legal mafias".Remember how much money was recovered at Lango's house that machines broke down counting it.That is the money of the people,NOT stolen by Pindi, instead lying inside Balochistan. Have you seen the recent terror lot?? They are not some peasentlings but highly educated people. They do this shit because it's easy money.

Power needs to be taken from these sardars too. However, this power is peanuts compared to the power in other parts of Pakistan. Yes, those provinces contribute more to the economy. However, if you want to keep a less productive unit of the country within the fold of the federation, you will have to throw money at it - at least until its economy takes off. This is done everywhere in the world. Less productive units are subsidised. Now, you might say the subsidies will only serve the local sardars. You will be right to say that, which is why I am proposing, as I have proposed many times before on this forum, that we need to devolve power to local governments.

Yup. Because the rest who want operation against these terrorists are "jingoistic majority" as per you
I am curious whether your retorts actually make sense in your head or if you are just shooting from the hip.

I am not against IBOs, but I do not overestimate the role they should play in the solution. And yes, I obviously find them distasteful - a sentiment which the poster I quoted seems to share - despite being unopposed to them. I do think that the LeAs should be made to defend each and every kill in a court of law. Let them make a little effort to demonstrate that the law was followed and justice was done in each case. It will prevent retributive misconduct and overzealousness among troops. More transparency will benefit all involved.

The perception exists not because of Punjab but because Pakistan’s Government never exposed corruption of Sardars. Dividing Baluchistan even into 100 smaller parts won't work as long as Sardars and Mullahs remain strong there

No, Timbuktu.

Timbuktu possible, Pakistan impossible.

I am guessing that you have wished this out of frustration, else there even don't exist any checks and balances, a total alien thing, which hurts a lot of people running the show.
