Featured 10 soldiers martyred, 1militant killed and 3 apprehended when BLF attacked military check post in Balochistan's Kech district

Both cases the problem seems to be a lack of available QRFs in practice due to the distance of the posts from available support areas.
What is the reasoning behind holding these posts by the way? Do they provide more coverage or some sort of strategic advantage as opposed to less and more consolidated, concentrated posts.

We also need to reconsider our position on Iran. Ever since we helped the Persians destroy Jindullah, they've been helping our enemies. It is time to reverse it, as no attack in Pakistan is possible without logistical support of IRGC.

We need to build an alliance with Iran's adversaries, just like they're doing to us with India. Let Iran's enemies take care of the IRGC, Sistan, Ahawaz and other Iranian fault lines.

Iran has to realize the cost of its actions. Maybe reboot Jindullah, Americans and Arabs will love it.
Mushy made us into passive Cucks, he rolled back all our offensive footprint and instead liberalize the nation to indulge in open debauchery in all facets of life.

He dismantled the strategic depth doctrine which had worked affectively by keeping India, Iran and even Soviets at bay.

We need another Ziaul Haq to come in change the mindset by setting our adversaries' cities on fire, from Afghanistan to crossing the Amu river in Soviet Union proper to Khalistan and onto Kashmir, who had the kahoonays to sit across from all the arab leaders and berate them to their faces for expelling Egypt from the Arab League and the tell Jimmy Carter to keep his peanuts.

Known journalist versus anonymous handle. Authorities would have likely confirmed if attack resulted in such a big loss.
There has been an attack and they have pretty much done 0 censorship on the information, heck casualty numbers were given. Do you think the other journalists were lying then? Try be a little objective rather than trying to find something to satisfy your ego.

If the attack did happen, it's interesting to see how most of people are not talking about the location of attacked post. There was a picture of BLF person floating on Social media supposedly killed in the attack. BLF is not based in India or Afghanistan. Many important persons in Pakistan were condemning Saudi Arabia following Saudi response to Iran-backed Houthi attacks and only days later BLF militants carried out an attack on Pakistani soil killing 8-10 soldiers. Go figure.

I don't get it. How many Pakistani soldiers would have to die before our state would do anything about these terrorists in Balochistan

COAS is busy having meeting with Michael Oven while large scale attacks against check posts are happening continously in the largest province of the country. He is meeting former footballer instead of doing his job

Why Pakistan is such an impotent state? Why? Kahan sai aayi hai yeh buzdali? Kia buzdali hai yeh?
COAS is busy lobbying for his extension. Period.

I know in war casualties happen. Everyone is going to die sooner or later including you and me

But that doesn't mean that I would overlook the weakness that exist in my military

Baluchistan is big. Yes

But these terrorists do not operate in all of Balochistan

They don't operate in Zhob. They don't operate in Qila Abdullah. They don't operate in Pishin. They don't operate in Qila Abdullah. They don't operate in Chaman

90% of terrorist incidents in Balochistan in few districts of Balochistan

90% (or even more) of terrorist attacks by BLA/BLF happen in these districts:

1. Quetta
2. Kech
3. Harnai
4. Sibbi
5. Awaran
6. Dera Bugti (things have improved here)

We know that Kech is a high risk area. We know that we would need airsupport since backup through land can't be provided in case of emergency

For 5 hours we couldn't provide airsupport to our soldiers in our own territory

I won't accept any excuse for it. Period
What you say is partially correct. I hail from the province and unfortunately, lately, the insurgents are making inroads even in the Pushtoon belt of Balochistan (started with the spectacular attack on QA residency where it was burnt). Some speculation in the past was made vis a vis TTP and Baloch insurgent collaboration as well that is affording operational flexibility to Baloch insurgents in Pushtoon dominated areas of Balochistan.

It evades me why heliborne troops (QRF) were not dispatched from a base in Quetta. 5 hours is a long period. The same motif keeps repeating itself in Balochistan. Remember the FC post that was overrun? When people protested about lack of air support/reinforcements for hours, we said it was not perched atop a commanding height (alluding it was a tactical flaw that led to carnage), well, this was regular military. What now?

You took out one commander in Pishin. Next day they walked in and took out whole post and went back. Why were they not stopped on that side ? Its not that complex to understand, is it ? Pointing this out will ofcourse be called an effort to ignite passion. So am outta here.

This legend cut off Baluchistan's water supply and was about to flatten Lal Masjid. He just wasn't very tactful and didn't know how to use the media to build a narrative. Proper old school general.

Militants > IRGC > RAW > NSA in Delhi > Modi.

We should support anti Iran elements in Iran to do a couple attacks. Once IRGC sees hundreds of their soldiers dead they will understand we are serious and if they continue helping India we will work with Arabs even usa if needed to make Iran hell for IRGC.

The reality of the matter is we fail to realize that this is a war in which we all have to fight. Its a war waged against the state.

Let see how many of the so called posters who jump to criticise armed forces are actually supporters of the likes of mirs, gorayas, shirazis, kirmanis, achakzais, kakars, pashteens etc, which political parties are backing these elements? Which segment of our society supports these elements?

And this incident I believe is a response to the death of their commander recently in Iran and is not possible to do without support of Iranian regime support.
Hit and run attacks like these are carefully planned by singling out the most venerable posts where backup will be most difficult.
It must be a large force gathered in Iran against the check post.

Keep taking out their heads and more aggressively.

The overall game is very big, these cross border attacks are just a small part of it. To understand the true magnitude of this game start with their sympathisers in general media, social media and understand what they are trying to achieve from politics to society. The target is the security forces and state itself.

.
As always there will be zero response from senior leadership. Just wait for the next attack and the cycle of violence will continue.
GHQ is a.complete failure.

Any impact from their influence on certain key clerics and PPP in Pakistan ?

One imp link that @Horus missed in his chain is local elements who continue to render support to militants.

it can go both ways as we saw few years back - rise in sectarian attacks.
