Why would China object ?

China has not even inducted JF-17 in its own Air Force. So it is not like the exposure would give away any secrets of PLAAF.

Plus JF17 in foreign exercises will give it greater exposure for Exports.

Yes why not JF 17 dont have any secret things even it has china had far better fighter jets than thunder which can cover up thunder weakness even if opponent got thunder weakness

One if Reason for these exercise to let the world know how they perform in war scinerio and most airforce pilot wont push jets to limits so enemy can get its weakness

And if u win exercises u get more orders for jet

If it can participate in air shows and is open for general public during it where sensitive aircraft like F-22, F-35 were not open for general public (peeping inside cockpit), then y wud anyone have any objections?

There are no strings attached to JF-17 ....This is the reason Pakistan built it against all odds !

Yes, thunder can participate in exercises and if radars are sensitive then they could be switched off like India did with its Su-30 MKI during red flag in USA..

The only time a JF-17 Thunder wouldnt be used would be for exercises involving combined NATO forces. Now of course Turkiye is a NATO country but they are an exception since we can trust them not to "share notes" with other NATO countries or countries like israel or india with whom we either have no ties - or we have poor ties. The Turks are old friends and those we could trust the most.

It would be interesting to see newer block JFTs and how they fare against newer variant F-16s such as those utilized by TuAF
