Iran recently just started to have elections and the person who Got the Most vote Won OH MY Bad let me explain what elections are.

It's more of an Arab Bedouin culture than an Islamic one, which is why it only really exists in the Persian Gulf. Pakistanis returning from Gulf sometimes bring it with them. The ISI today is working hard to clamp down on sectarian groups. It's an intelligence organization working for internal security of Pakistan. It's not a religious seminary.
