well su 30mki is a air superiority aircraft what will be the best answer to it j10 or block 60 as you have ruled out block 52

Both j10 or F16 block60 are not air superiority fighters so they are not belongs to MKI category

In dog fight with any of these MKI is surely a winner

then what is block 60 or j10

I think Pakistan cant compete with Indian Navy and we knows the fact and we are just trying to defend it through nuclear sub marines and by allowing chinese to take the positions in indian ocean and build strategic depths in Gawadar.
Block 60 cant beat Su 30 but block 52:confused: and then
for Su 30 we need other planes or may need some quantity to beat each.

Block 60 would be comparable i would think if we are taking BVR into account AN/APG-80 provides far more range over the AN/APG-68. J10 is still speculative as to where it exactly falls. Some have put it at block 40 standards while others have said it is on par with 50+ variants of F-16s. Maybe a highly modified version could be viable. The block 50/52+ though is a modern 4th gen F-16. The low numbers Pakistan has would not be much of a threat. It wasn't a game changer unless Pakistan had numbers like the TuAF (240 after 2011)

I suppose Eurofighter and rafale are also no match for the MKI as they are also multi role aircraft.

Brilliant logic.

Eurofigher is also a air superiority fighter . Get your facts right

MKI is only lack in radar with Rafale but in dog fight my pick is still MKI

well even i think block 60 will be at par with mki and may have a edge over mki in bvr as mki doesnt have it yet but once it gets it then it will all depend on the pilot

off topic tuaf have 240 f16 :woot:

I thought that since you would buy the things you would get the facts straight. Obviously thats not the case.

Here is the Official Eurofighter website

Eurofighter Typhoon is the worlds most advanced new generation multi-role/swing-role combat aircraft available on the market. With 707 aircraft ordered by six nations (Germany, Italy, Spain, United Kingdom, Austria and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia), and in service with all nations, the aircraft is Europe’s largest military collaborative programme.

The problem with Su 30 plane is this is an Air Show machine, never participated in any war. or any comaparatable wars. looks good to show in Air games but in war it is not tested comparatively yet. F-16 block 52 are registered and recognized war dragons that builts for the kill.

How many wars F16 block 52 faced ????
Dnt include Iraq, Afghanistan war in this cause they have no opponent in those wars

Remember though this aircraft was not offered to Pakistan. A slighty modified version is in MRCA tender for India. Then you have UAE operating them since they funded the program.

Yes we have 210 and 30 on order (currently being built) So we will have 240 after 2011.

Tranche 3 will be multirole but Tranche 1 and Tranche 2 both are air superiority
