What's new

Pakistan was created on the basis of group nationalism and not religion

The IVC doesnt belong to the whole of south Asia. That's like saying the Ancient Egypt belongs to the whole of North Afrcia. Or the Persian Empire belongs to the whole of Middle East. Or Greek Civilization belongs to the whole of Europe.

People around the world who have read real history know that when the indus valley civilization was in its decline its people movied further into india and then started the ganges valley civilisation hence all ancient indians were the descendatnts of that civilisation .I am not going to post sources , use the internet and find it for yourself . There are ample sources.

After all, this is the extent of the Indus Valley Civilization:

The IVC is clearly the area through which the Indus River is "centered", & because the Indus River lies almost in the middle of Pakistan, it covers all of Pakistan on both sides, and a little bit of Western parts of India. The rest are probably myths being perpetrated by Indians. Some Indians even have the audacity to claim there was never such thing as an Aryan-Dravidian "divide" in India. Indians can even start perpetrating their theories on how Bangladesh is part of the IVC when Bangladesh has no link to the Indus River. Despicable people. Also read Post # 384

P.S While hardly any India (besides some Western parts) is part of the IVC, more than half of Afghanistan, parts of Iran & present day Tajikistan are also included in the IVC. See the map.

besides TNT is just a name given to very thoughts of Muslims in India, who dont want to live under Hindu Hegemony. either we ever accepted that before, nor we will ever after !!

Indus valley civilsation , one the oldest civilisations on earth - A Hindu civilisation .

Just shut up you idiot and dont reply me.

dont cry baby , reply

The people of IVC were known to bury their dead, and also slaughter cows. Face it. They were not hindus.

And even if they were hindus, you still cant claim IVC as your own. It's like saying I can claim Iranian, Arab, Egyptian, ect. history because I'm Muslim.

See, hinduism doesn't follow a code book of do's and don'ts.It tells a hindu to use his/her brain. Its not an obligation for any hindu to follow his religion.

Even south Indians eat Cow meat, does it makes them less hindu??

no!!!!..A big NOOOOO!!!

and burial is also a part of some hindu communities....So what???????????

The thing which you are trying to say is that, Pakistan is formed on the land where IVC once stood, so IVC is yours.

Going by the same Logic..You should feel proud of your Hindu heritage...Make idols and busts of the heroes like Panini and teach your children more about them and there religion...

And yeah..Consider Mohd Bin Qasim as an Invader too!!

Pakistan's creation had nothing to do with IVC and nothing to do with pre-Islamic past.

It is a new fangled hobby of some people on internet and it doesn't change anything.

We welcome your recognizing your past history and the fact that it was not all jahiliyah as you had been sold forever.

Like the Persians, one day you guys will realize your glorious past before the invasions.

Indus valley civilsation , one the oldest civilisations on earth - A PAKISTANI civilisation .

Say it loud , say it proud - PAKISTANI Pride .

I feel so proud that indians are so desperate and frustrated to try and claim Pakistani civilization as their own :victory:

bilal , the people of the indus started migrating to other parts of india after after the that civilisation was in decline either due to the river drying up becasue of climate change or because of the aryan invasion .

these are the accepted views of most international historians . read about it .

And that map you showed is based on old excavations . New excavations are taking place as we talk so we dont know its real extent yet .

For example read about Alamgirpur - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

It is in U.p and it is Nothern india , not north west or west .

Well Muslim rulers came from outside, captured looted and then some stayed and ruled portions of today's India and Pakistan. Some people got converted and became Muslim. When British came the Muslims still lived happily, once the time of democracy came, Muslims asked for a separate country since they feel in democracy they will not have enough say. Now they say it is group nationalism and not driven by religion. Then why asked for separate country for Muslims?

Indus Valley Civilization are the ancestors of most Indians but not all are from Indus Valley Civil. .
The Mirza family, descendants of Mughal empire are descendants of Mongols. And what about Arians. Even there families live in India today.

No Solid Proof!!!!

Jeezzzz, Check out neutral sources you will find the shiva Idol, The Bull, The stone inscribed words of Shiva and Shambhu..etc; etc; etc;

Good lord, m sitting in my office and doing some important work, otherwise would have given you so many references..

I was talking in general not point towards your ancestors in particular.

I like it that you respect your ancestors, if you really do, respect there religion as well.

Remeber Allah says in glorious Quran- Only He is the judge who can decide whether You are a muslim or not.

Sir,
Its the cow that is worshiped in Hinduism, not the bull. Bull was sacred in many ancient Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cultures. You are also welcome to claim this bull cult but give credit to to the origin of this cult.

The Harappan seals depicting the sitting man/deity wearing horned headdress (which you claim as so called Shiva) is not shiva, Similar to this Harappan man/deity is the Celtic Cerrunos that was worshiped in ancient Europe and now you are also welcome to claim all the europeans were hindus.

Hinduism's Shiva looks totally different
