Whatever his views, I still consider him an asset for Pakistan.

BTW this also shows the poor state of academia here, we have been quite stunted in many many fields.

A real Pakistani intellectual although I do disagree with some of his views but compare him to the likes of Orya Maqbool jan or Zaid Hamid who are nothing more then pseudo-intellectuals and their supporters are Islamists with IQ averaging around 60.

I respect his views although I don't always agree with him but he is one of the better contributors at Dawn.

He's so whiney, always complaining and talking Pakistan and Pakistanis down.

I've no respect for someone who uses thier platform to drag us down. He's an academic and complains about academic standards yet does nothing to improve them.

He's negative about everything and never has any solutions, only criticism.

Dr. Hood Boy? That's a funny name and I am afraid I have never heard of him before.

I respect every human, I could have different opinion or maybe don't agree with their views but doesn't mean I don't respect them.

I respect him for voicing his opinion, never once I agreed with him just out of patriotism but I commend him for speaking out for what he feels is wrong in Pakistan.
