Two explosions hit Istanbul's Atatürk Airport, 36 dead 140 injured reported

Turks who have gone on to join ISIS should just be "removed" . Their friends and male family members along with the mosques they frequented should be put under intense surveillance.

This isn't a giant number so the problem is manageable unlike in Pakistan where the genie is out of the bottle....once the local support network is decimated there is very little foreign ISIS fighters can achieve.

The mosques in Turkey are already controlled by the state and the imams being schooled by the state, there is not a single exsample of any mosque in Turkey preaching hate and extremism, the same goes for Turkish mosques in Europe.

Multiple news sources are reporting that the mastermind of this week's IS terror attack on Istanbul's main airport that killed 44 people and wounded 239 others has been identified as Akhmed Chatayev, a Chechen extremest commander of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant. He has numerous arrests, investigations, etc., into previous terror activities. He has been on Russia's most wanted list and was identified by the US intelligence sources as a terrorist, prior to Tuesday's attack.

This is fishy. All of the perpetrators were from Russia and apparantly the mastermind is Russian as well.

What is "fishy"? One of the suspects were wanted in Russia since 2003 and despite being arrested throughout Europe for weapons charges including bomb making material he was released every time.

The problem is that the idiots in Europe take these people in despite red flags and refuse to arrest or extradite them back to Russia because they are poor Chechen dissidents that Russia likes to target.

No Eu and USA use them for their own goals.. If they want to they would take them out in no time but they are the ones who benefit from those psychos..

That ISIS picks Russian/Chechen perpretators in Turkey is strange, dont you think? Or do these Chechens have personal deals with us, which they don't as far a i know. Or is it because it's easier to blend in the crowd with Russian/Chechen background and less suspicious than Arabs?

There is a Chechen community in Turkey which fled from wars in 90s, many Chechens in dagestan and surrounding regions got radicalized by foreign funded salafis.
As said radicals dont care about your ethnicity, they dont see you as a brother.
Now we have even more Syrians, we will suffer for decades if the goverment decides to do nothing about the uncontrolled situation, we are more vulnerable against radical islamists.

I understand what Zulkarneyn is hinting towards, and being sceptic doesn't harm anyone compared to closing your eyes.

The news posted is just another source to investigate.
