    AoA brother i have a question are there any pictures of Type 85UG with ERA mounted on both the Hull and turret i know that the ERA is bolted on a metal plate and then attached to the hull but are there any pictures of ERA attached in PA service.

    Salam, As far as I know, PA has never used ERA with type 85 (UG or otherwise). likely a weight related issue, it’s engine isn’t that powerful.
    There have been other Type 85s with ERA, Chinese Prototypes with more powerful engines.
    There’s nothing really stopping the PA from using ERA on the tank but I assume they’d rather not sacrifice the mobility of the tank in this case.

    I see there are chinese prototypes like the Type-85III which do have have ERA attached but they also have 1000HP engine thanks.
