Turks Love for Pakistanis

Presiding over the Special Session of the Muslim League at Calcutta on 7 September 1920, Muhammad Ali Jinnah said :

First came the Rowlatt Bill - accompanied by the Punjab Attrocities - and then came the spoilation of the Ottoman Empire & the Caliphate. The one attacks our Liberty, the other our faith....Notwithstanding the unanimous opinion of the Muslims, and in breach of the (British) Prime Minister's solemn pledges, unchivalrous & outrageous terms have been imposed upon Turkey & the Ottoman Empire has served for plunder & been broken up by the Allies under the guise of Mandates. This, thank God, has at last convinced us, once & for all, that we can no longer abide our trust either in the Government of India or in the Government of His Majesty the King of England.....
