"If they will buy one spare engine for every four fixed (in China purchased SU-35), as is in fact not necessary, then it will be a wake-up call - U.S. official says - although at the moment there is no point in the transaction, prescribing the relationship between spare and installed engines. Despite the apparent "bear trap" in which Russia landed the ill-fated J-11, the Russian aviation industry needs money to start serial production of fighter aircraft. If the deal does not burn out, the fighter T-50 does not stand on stream as planned. "

Sukhoi T-50 is a prototype stealth fighter PAK FA is intended to replace the Su-27 and MiG-29. Delays and problems with the program the U.S. «F-35 Joint Strike Fighter» are unpleasant recall the failures that may occur from production of the fifth generation fighter.

No country had not bought the SU-35, while Brazil, India and South Korea are considering it. China has in the past expressed interest in carrier-based fighters Su-33 and Su-27, but the previous incident of violation of intellectual property rights in the case of SU-27, struts Russian arms sales, is still an important issue.

if we really buy 24 Su35s. more than 60 million USD per jet.
we just do a favor to india. Sukhoi will have more money to develop T50 project.
So we should not buy any SU 35.

we are funding PAK-FA , so please stop beating your chest as to you are the "chosen one" and everything under the sun runs due to you !

Our Funding is Not Enough . Don't You see how the cost will rise like it does nowadays in many Russian projects .

I think if the day has come Sukhoi have to sell something to continue their project, the sun is setting for Sukhoi.

This is the same as saying, if China don't buy the Su-35, Sukhoi is going under.

Remind me of a simpson episode "If you don't buy my record, then Al Qaeda win" :alcoholic:

What utter BS. India is already committed to spend in excess of $30 BILLION USD to develop the T-50/FGFA woth Russia pledging a similar amoint do you really think a 1-2 BN deal with China will affect the T-50/FGFA in ANY way??!!

Utter nonsense.

But it goes to show some Chinese members are so scared out of their minds at the prospect of the T-50/FGFA in IAF service they have to fabricate lies to try and make themselves feel better.
