Idea no.2: Agriculture

they are flexible and easier to work with or maybe safaida grown there is different from what is grown here
btw whats the price there for safaidas?
Sufaida is same everywhere, it is flexible but weak, never heard anyone making furniture from it.. mostly used for burning.

Price, No idea bhai.

Here is a YT video:

Video is from southern panjab..

here safaidas are used because they are cheap and easy to work with
we have other locally grown trees that are much better but are hard to grow and take longer to mature

can you obstruct social & economic reforms because you own 12.5 acres ?
or do you become a feudal landlord because you own 12.5 acres ?
Feudal lords?

Im one too, our lands back home aint worth shyt though.. rich in unexplored minerals but not agriculture.

In sindh and Southern panjab big landowners have thousand of acres.

But we ade discussing about small farmers.

thanks for sharing the photos. It depends on the soil. You cannot grow water intensive crops. Something like dates could be grown

You could grow water intensive crops if you could extract groundwater. it might not be optimal long term utilization of resources - water and energy
Balochistan is the largest date producing region in Pakistan.

Specially turbat region, followed by Sindh.

However we lack facilities for storing them and even transporting them to other parts of the country.

We have the best apples, cherries, grapes, dates and olives in the entire country.

But severe drought is a problem, specially with climate change.

money money money! There are some measures but if you pay the right official...it gets side stepped...

What we need are honest officials who deal with exports!
Saving a few RS through bad quality ultimately results in less sales. Pakistan has enough potential to produce rice as good as India, if not better.

Ok I will open a thread in TT section and ask around who wants to manage what... :)

Never tasted Balochi dates :D
Turbat, the mountain in the backdrop is Punnu fort (which now lies in ruins):

You gotta be kidding me?! Cherries in the desert?
In parts of balochistan yes.
Its not all desert bro.

It def does...But corruption is terrible here! They dont care about Pakistani image or long term client building....and only care abt quick money!
