ICC Cricket World Cup - England 2019

Next three important matches in context of top 4 ranking

Bangladesh Vs India ( Tuesday 2nd July)
New Zeland Vs England( Wednesday 3rd July)
Bangldesh Vs Pakistan(Friday 5th July)

Question, If England wins today, and Pakistan wins tomorrow - what will happen to NZ and Pakistan for the semi-finals spot? Would this mean that Pakistan has to make certain amount of runs??

Pak would have to beat Bangladesh by a huge margin and hope that NZ lose by a huge margin so Net Run Rate comes into play.

This tournament is going to be very interesting or we can say good script writing by ICC :cheesy:. I am Pakistani and I wish that England will beat New Zealand today. So that, Pakistan can go to semi-finals easily. I purchased Pakistani cricket t-shirt from Goto online shopping for supporting my team.

Rain cost us a lot in this World Cup
England had no game called off

New Zealand India game was rained off and Pakistan Sri Lanka was

On form we would be two points better off and in 3rd place .

We beat two of the semi finalists and ran Australia close so hoping New Zealand wins and go through to semi finals .

☆If India New Zealand match was not abandoned.
☆If Pak vs Sl match was not called off

Now let me add few more ifs

☆If Umpire has given right decission during Afghan and Pak match and given Imad wasim out when he was at 2 or 3 runs...
☆If Afghan havn't dropped many catches during Afghan vs Pak..
☆ If Pak havn't dropped so many catches..
☆ If your openers would have performed well..
☆ If your team had fielded better..
☆ If India won against England..
☆ If NZ won against England..

You can win a match with these many ifs but you can't win the world cup with these many ifs..

P.S Let me add one more IF

If you havn't lost to Australia in 2009 Championship Trophy by giving 2 runs as byes in last ball then we would have won the 2009 Championship Trophy..

Stupid comparison from a dumb Indian.

Comparing rain to fielding and playing the game

Aray budhu game being called off for no fault of your own is different to being at fault

Or is it the same ?

What a moronic comparison lol

It was competitive world cup for Pakistan

We tied on points with New Zeland and just 1 point behind England
Only 2 teams Australia and India were out of reach

Banners reading “#Justice for Kashmir” and “India stop genocide & free Kashmir” were flown over Headingley during India's World Cup clash with Sri Lanka on Saturday.

It was the second such incident at the event in England and Wales, after a banner was flown over the same ground in Leeds during last week's match between Pakistan and Afghanistan.

An insurgency in Indian-occupied Kashmir over the past three decades has left more than 70,000 dead, mainly civilians.

“We are incredibly disappointed this has happened again,” the International Cricket Council said in a statement. “We do not condone any sort of political messages at the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup.

“Throughout the tournament we have worked with local police forces around the country to prevent this type of protest occurring. After the previous incident we were assured by West Yorkshire Police there would not be a repeat of this issue, so we are very dissatisfied it has happened again.”

Last week's group game between Pakistan and Afghanistan was marred by clashes between fans, prompting a police probe.

The ugly scenes were sparked by the flying of a banner over the ground reading: “Justice for Balochistan.”

That's a good message. It will attract people to know, learn about the issue.

BTW, India been given a target of 265 by Sri Lanka. A century by Angelo Mathews to put a par score on board after being down from 55 for 4 to 264 for 7.

Hoping for a good knock from Kohli, tired of his consecutive fifties.

Now everyone know it's a revenge. So not that effective.
