Zikar Bil Jahar...as in Zikar in lous voice is not liked by everybody..But Zikr means Saying the Names of Allah,and remembering Allah and thats for every Muslim..
Zikar Bil Jahar ahs its reasons..
It helps more in Concentration...By saying it loud one is engaging more of his/her senses in Ziks...Toungue is saying the name and ears are listening to its voice,and that helps in concentration.But its not necessary to do it loud..it can be done in your heart or Quietly.

About Sufi ism..Its not recommended for everybody and only indulge if you know what you are doing....Thats why a real Piir,or Sheikh wont "Baait" just about anybody who approaches them..They will first see if Sufiism is right for the person or not...But you can still be a good Muslim and go to Heaven without Sufiism...
And no its not haram...Its some people who are "Jaahil" and do it wrong...without knowing what they are doing...making it look bad..
