Bro do u know BIT (Bangladesh International tutorial) at Gulshan? They teach French and Chinese.

Hey I was a student there.. :D

Had to take French as a third language in 6th and 7th grade...that was a pain but cool!!J'mappelle Leon ;)

They started Chinese course only one or two years ago..so we didn't get it.A cousin of mine is learning though,he taught me some Chinese but I forgot :P

Among Eng med schools in Dhaka, only Manarat gives emphasis to Arabic and Islamic studies.

Some school also offers Urdu and Hindi for O-levels and A-levels for Indian and Pakistani students living in BD.

BTW the principle is a SHE not HE...and she isn't liked by any... :P

Actually, my cousin is a student in there, not me; he is always first boy, lol, and I'm always worse student of the class. I forgot what he said about his principle either male or female.

Urdu is Trukish word, its meaning is "Lashkary" derived from "Lashkar" means army. Its mixture of Persian, Arabic, Turkish and Hindi also some words from English.

It is a modification of the Persian alphabet, which is itself a derivative of the Arabic alphabet. With 38 letters, the Urdu alphabet is typically written in the calligraphic Nasta'liq script, whereas Arabic is more commonly in the Naskh style. Usually, bare transliterations of Urdū into Roman letters omit many phonemic elements that have no equivalent in English or other languages commonly written in the Roman alphabet.

Urdu is Trukish word, its meaning is "Lashkary" derived from "Lashkar" means army

Error: The word Urdu is not derived from Lashkar though the two have the same meaning. Urdu/Ordu is the Turkic/Mongolian word for army hence the army of Genghis Khan was his Ordu.

This word has gone down into the English language as Horde e.g the Golden Horde (Altan Ord in mongolian) based in East Europe was one of the Hordes/Ordu's estabished by the decendents of Timujin.

Ye Hij'raur BIYABAANI ka matlab kaya hai bhai???? This words off track me......:p:frown:
