Imran Khan hold talks with Chinese leaders

After his blistering attack on US and India at a recent rally in Lahore, cricketer-turned-politician Imran Khan on Tuesday arrived here and praised China for its consistent support to Pakistan. Khan, leading a delegation of Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf party headed by him, held talks with Ismail Tiliwaldi, vice chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress (NPC), China's top legislature.

Khan, who arrived here on a two-day visit at the invitation of the ruling Communist Party of China (CPC), said that Pakistan and especially his party had a lot to learn from China, including alleviation, anti-corruption measures and accountability of officials and party leaders.

Tiliwaldi assured him that China will continue its support for Pakistan's efforts in safeguarding national sovereignty and independence.

Tiliwaldi praised the sound and stable development of bilateral relations over the past 60 years, saying that China and Pakistan are "good neighbors, friends and partners," state-run Xinhua news agency reported.

China highly appreciates Pakistan's long-term support on issues concerning China's core interests, he said, adding that China will continue to support Pakistan's efforts to promote peace and stability, as well as safeguard its own sovereignty and independence.

Khan spoke highly of bilateral relations and thanked China for its consistent support to Pakistan in international and regional affairs.

Pakistan hopes to learn from China's development experience and boost the development of the friendship between the two countries, Khan said.

Is he the favourite candidate for the leadership in next election?

If he can GOVERN half as well as he speaks, we will be in good shape.

I am counting on this man to pull Pakistan out of its Economic malaise.

Yes , he is the ONLY favorite candidate if the elections aren't rigged . Cats out of the bag now , rats must run.

Very little chance of the election being rigged, there are some very powerful forces inside Pakistan that are backing him and they will ensure that elections are carried out fairly. Besides there are going to be hundreds of international observers all around the country. Now Imran has to carry on his popularity to Sindh and Balochistan and break the backs of PPP. Odds are certainly in his favour, there is no doubt about that.

Oh! this is great he is going to learn something from China. But I'm realli tired of Democrzy drama...I like dictatorship either by Pak Army or one man...I hate politicians now....the liars and killers of this world....other than politics Imran Khan is a nice man. He sholdn't be in politics cuz its the field of liars and thugs. Yea if he realli bring Chinese model with the help of China then he might be doing good other than that I hate the Western systems....:smokin:

Who is hosting him in China?

I know the Chinese government invited him, but which counterpart hosted him in Beijing? Who's sitting across in the images?
