Hmmm he said "Main Hazarat Muhammad (SAW) ko khuda ka aakhri nabi maanta hoon".

His critics would say "Yousuf Ali's full name is Muhemmad Yousuf Ali.

He should've also said "Main Muhemmad Yousuf Ali ko Nabi nahi maanta". Chahay usko Kazaab na kahay, no problem, lekin "Main flanay flanay ko Nabi nahi maanta" bhi toh keh sakta hai hai na.

He also said "Jo koi kisi Adna Sahabi ke makaam pe faiz samjhay, woh bila tafreek jhoota, makaar, aur kazaab (hai)..."

Khair point is, he shouldn't have qualified what type of Sahabi and should've said "jo koi bhi Sahabi k barabar apne aap ko samjhay" or something like that.

Zaid Hamid se kaho, meri corrections karke wapis aye.

And now hes again lying after previously admitting when he says "Aur hum yeh ailaan karte hain ke Yousuf Ali ki soch, fikar aur nazariaat se humara koi taaluk nahi..." Where as he spoke in Yousuf Ali's big conference of "Sahabis" and also later admitted to knowing him.

I just skimmed through it, its filled with his usual dialog baazi, if I would've missed something out, then please correct me .

He has clarified all of those accusations in the latest press conference i posted above. Please make the effort and check them out.

Also now he's begining to have the backing of some prominent Mufti's and Ulema Ikram.

We don't take Zaid Hamid religiously. he's a sinner just like us. He's not a religious figure. He's a political figure as he focuses on politics of Pakistan as a Defense Analyst. Takmeel Pakistan is a grass roots level political movement that is re-initiating Islam based political values in our youth which were lost with the demise of the founders of this country.

First, if Zaid Hamid is true then why does he not come on the TV and give this "carefully thought" speech of his. Secondly, why does he not accept a "manazra" with the scholars pointing fingers at him. ....

Should'nt he have released this a long time back. BEsides, this is not the only thing he has literally lied about.

I advise u 2 to go thru his addresses once again,,, he repeated dissociation from false prophets MULTIPLE times in his videos,,, u just don't seem to have capacity to hear..
He said in majority of his public addresses that he believes in Muhammad as LAST Prophet & curse on anyone who claim such after him...

that's because u in ur own words, just "skimmed it", with intension to pick faults in it...
Immediately after sentence u quoted he said "Aap(pbuh) kay ba'd joo shaks nabuwat, risaalat, mahdi'yat ka dawa karay...... woh jhoota, makaar, kazzab hay..."


What phrase most of us use to address Prophet "Aap(saww)" or "Aan'hazrat (saww)" or "Hazrat Muhammad(saww)".... that what he used too...

This qualification of "superior" _vs_ "adnaa'" sahabi exists in islam itself, so he was NOT inventing anything from his own,,, like there a verse in Quran praising sahabi who was companion in the cave(Abu-Bakr), similarly there were 10 Sahabi's who were given tiding of Jannat in their lives... similarly Quran praised those sahabis who took oath(Bait-e-Rizwan) of allegience under a tree when rumor of Usman getting killed by Quraish spread... such were superior Sahabi's...

This can be explained in 2 ways...

"Spoke" is past tense... OP is his claim NOW... Even if he was mistaken previously, NOW he's declaring partition from Yusuf's deviant claims... Like ppl convert to islam we don't remember what mistakes they did before... So let's say he did a mistake & then dissociated himself from that...

Other explaination would be...
in my post here I explained that some believe in "Khilafat" given to pious ppl,,, it was that kinda khalifah he called Yusuf in that conference, & they also believe that who sees Prophet in dream is a "Sahabi"... So in OP he declared dissociation from claims of Prophethood by Yusuf, if any... That recording of conference did NOT have a single claim of Prophethood, as I explained in my linked post...

In summery i would say that he got carried away by some sufism's concepts...
Here's neighbour of Zaid clarifying that he understood his mistake & went to Makkah/Madina to ask for forgiveness.. & also Zaid used to forbade other frnds in circle to part from Yusuf...

Ppl have their styles,,, ever go to Jummah prayer Khutbahs... similar dialogue-bazzi from speaker in almost every other mosque... so should ALL jummah khutbah & other speeches by maulvis be taken as malicious & false-claims...

Yeup, it' can be construed as a lie and a tuhmat which are sins according to our great deen Islam. And that makes Zaid Hamid a sinner just like any of us.

Have you never lied? I do, sometimes. We're all humans after all and make mistakes.

But you have to wonder why he makes those claims. His claims are based on his assessment of the current geo-political situations and the roles people like Hamid Mir and others playing in destabilizing Pakistan whom he has called CIA agents.

As an analyst he makes assessments, and his assessments can be sometimes absolutely wrong. Of course no human being can make all right assessments. (I believe Zaid Hamid is wrong in calling Hamid Mir a CIA Agent, unless he provides sufficient evidence to back up his claim.)

Just because of his one or two wrong assessments or few stupid remarks of his supporters, it would be unjust and unfair to discard everything he says or pass judgements on him. therefore no need to turn this into a personal crusade to vilify Zaid Hamid.

Takmeel e Pakistan is no longer a Zaid Hamid's movement, rather it's Pakistan's youth movement that calls for the ideology for which Pakistan was created. It is attempting to raise awareness and inculcate issues such as justice which have been denied to people by corrupt and sold out politicians.

So, if what if the lazy burger boys who never contribute anything to the society want to do something good for Pakistan now. Lets not become an obsticle in their way. I'd say let em move their lazy arse and do something constructive
