USA pumped huge amounts of money into both Germany and Japan after WW2 to jump start the present day economic miracles you see today, that the OP wants to emulate in Pakistan. Where is such a source for Pakistan if this model is to be repeated?

Well, it has nothing to do with Pakistan today. US doesn't care but only interests in mutual respects and basic cooperation instead economic miracles.

Of course, Pakistan may find the needed investments from China or Saudi Arabia, or other places to get the economic miracle going. It does not have to be USA.

Exactly, Pakistan doesn't seek US assistance anymore after we learned alot of things last 14 years, US is just being unhelpful and troublemaker.

For education, i think there needs to be a mandatory 12 month national service for all Bachelors graduates, both male and females to educate rural communities. This way we will never run out of teachers.

I would guess the Chinese investment in Pakistan will be quite important over the next few years, and probably the highest compared to any other country.

Energy shortfall should reduce to the point where businesses can output at all full capacity. This will happen by 2017. Time now to install 1000s of CCTV cameras across the country and tighten surveillance in preparation.

I believe from 2017 to 2030 Pakistan can achieve 6-8% consistent growth and by 2030 we will see vastly more developed and balanced country.

First outbreaks of prosperity to be seen in Punjab followed by Karachi achieving its potential of a mega city on the coast with sky scrapers and money everywhere. This will happen by 2035-2040.

So for everyone concerned, if you can live till 2045 you will see a Pakistan which will no longer be 3rd world.

Technology should be highest priority, some crazy ideas, massive production of something link to next generation. I said number of times and will say again, it is the time when whole world is changing. This decay will decide how new world would look like?
3d Printing, Nano Technologies, Drones, AI is going to change whole world in no time. The peace with what we are running our country, might lead us to 4th world country.

Power Crisis, Automation, Sky scrappers all belongs to previous generation things, and yet we didn't cross these hurdles. We need to boost these things on emergency bases, and make it happen now. I don't know what it takes to build gaint buildings 80 story, 90 story etc, Automate everything, car registration, Parking, Land Reforms, National Records link with other system, etc, build nuclear power plants, energy generation from everything, waves, rivers, wind, sun, heat.... some huge push is required to cover this 30 years gap. And same time start building research infrastructure, new innovations, copy pasting things like China did, which will help us soon to accompany world.

It's realize and grow, rather then disintegrate.

1. Political stability via on-time elections is very important. If we have political stability and no interference from Army, we can go on to achieve 6-8% annual growth beginning from 2017 on-wards.

2. As GOP's revenue generation improves, more of it should go to schools and hospitals. Within a few short years we can seriously improve our HDI.

3. Energy projects would ultimately determine our growth potential in the long run. We should improve our domestic supply of coal and gas, as well as import it.

Post-2018, on yearly basis we must have at least 10% electric generation growth with at least 60% of this generation hydro-electric and/or nuclear in nature.

4. We should aim for peace and non-interference with our neighbors. Increased trade will allow better growth and decrease in hostilities.

5. Pakistan should continue to have a strong army & air force. But our Navy should get preferential treatment. This world respects power and we should maintain it. Just not at the expense of our HDI improvement.

6. Pakistanis are an enterprising bunch. If we have the above in place, we can figure out the rest by ourselves.

Well to be honest the war has not commenced yet

We have been dealing with hinderances , here and there the major issue is generally with following things

a) High Population & lack of schools and Hospitals
b) Power
c) Lack of Toursim and Trade

Last 10 years we lost 100-150 Billion Dollars , so to recover that will take time

When war will start to tackle our real issues after that we can plan for post war scenarios
