No compulsion on doing Yoga on 'International Yoga Day': Rajnath | Zee News
Last Updated: Tuesday, June 9, 2015 - 14:24

New Delhi: Amid controversy surrounding Yoga, Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Tuesday said that it should not be related to any caste, religion or community.

“No compulsion on doing Yoga on International Yoga Day. Yoga should not be related to any caste, religion or community,” Singh said.

His statement comes shortly after Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Yogi Adityanath stoked a controversy after his statement that those opposing 'surya namaskar' should "drown in the sea".

"Sun is the source of life giving energy. Whoever thinks Sun is communal, I would like to humbly request them to drown themselves in the sea or they should stay in a dark cell," said the BJP leader yesterday at a religious event in Varanasi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Lok Sabha constituency.

"And my request to them would be that they should not take the sunlight or even its warmth," he added.

The All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) had also declared that it will launch a nationwide campaign against making 'Surya Namaskar' and Yoga compulsory in schools.

Everything in this world has its own specialty & quality which is unique, that particular quality is DHARMA of that living/non-living thing. That particular DHARMA is praised.

There is no worth with talking you about Concepts of Hinduism: Aduait (Singularity/ Non-Duality); Maya (Illusion); Oneness of Atma and Bhrama (Singularity of Sole with GOD); NadaBhrama (Whole world is Manifestation as Vibration and nothing is SOLID in the world but only Vibration of Shakti(Energy)).

I will focus on your 1,00,000 idols part.

Now let us put it strait what is difference between PRAYER OF A HINDU AND A MUSLIM.

One simple question to you as you are Muslim is, WHAT COMES TO YOUR MIND WHEN YOU DO NAMAZ????

Prayers are personals issue and its between the Supreme Creator and the believer. Why to be judgemental here ?

Should we start counting how many times does anyone do puja, prayers and Namaaz etc ?

For all your bragging rights . Most of the discoveries you point out were discovered long before 6th century, most ironically in the Indian Sub continent region Mr. Arabica Pakistani.

Except the comedy thing called India- Pak- China war nexus. ( China )

Discoveries made by the nations were shared with other neighboring nations and those ideas were further studied.

We can take example of the Mysore rockets.

Border talks are being hold and Republic of India have successfully done the border treaty with Bangladesh.

Become Hindu, you will get the knowledge on what I said

According to you Hinduism itself is a secularism ... Nice joking dude  In fact Hinduism is only discriminatory religion for humanity in the world regardless religious beliefs ..............

What you are saying is out of context.

Do read full reply against which the post was made. Nit Picking makes absurd conclusions. Same as been done by you.

Nobody is comparing prayers.

Everybody is free do whatever he/she beholds is true.

I just want to reply him about his quote:

Yes your religious idea is far more advance :sarcastic:
Bowing down before cow, snake, lion, monkey, elefant, and 1,00,000 idols is far more advanced ... Whole world had abandoned this type of worship except backward Hindus

Kisi ne khoob kaha tha "Hindu ki jis se phati uski pooja shuru kardi" :omghaha:

You should have replied to him instead of me for his post.

If he replies I will prove he is hypocrite.

Try to understand Hinduism and then judge.

I am not saying things out of context. Try to think what type of questions will come out in this waste arguement . Who is the Judge ? According to both Hindusim and Islam, its the Supreme creator who knows what is there in the hearts.

These are very strange types of questions , How you feel while offering Namaz or how many times you offer prayers or what comes in your mind while offering Namaz etc.

How..???? Would you guide me :undecided:
No, I can't, you need to find your own path. You need to question. At first you will ask crass an banal questions. But later you will see that that's not the point. As the boy monk in matrix said "there is no spoon"
