The peace and harmony is overwhelming, i guess all the mishaps mentioned earlier are parts of the healthy democracy, what you as an Indian term as shambles, others with knowledge of ground realities regard it as resilience and steadfast of a nation that very few posses.
The draw back is our lack luster media has failed to produce any drama queens to counter yours.

You can only show only one Golden Temple ,One Babri Mosque and some burning church to show that minorities are oppressed here..well you keep on ignoring the facts that there are tens of thousands of churches and mosques still here in India unscratched and untouched ...so keep your preaching of we are second class citizens to yourself..

All this talk about Indian Muslims being second class citizens and not really belonging to a "Hindu dominated" India reminds me of an instance during India's 04-05 tour to Pakistan.

Irfan Pathan on a visit to Lahore University was asked by a group of girl students if he would play for Pakistan if given a chance. He politely said "No". I wonder if the same question would have been asked to a Muslim from Singapore or any other non-Muslim nation. Probably not. The instance displays the deep rooted belief amongst Pakistanis in general that India is not a place for Muslims and those that are living there would be dissatisfied.

1) Muslims in India = Indians.

2) Muslim Brotherhood = Yes Please!!!! , but not from an Islamic country like Pakistan which probably has the worst Muslim-brotherhood reputation as far as India is concerned.
Read Bangladesh or terrorist attacks in Iran (as claimed by them) or Karachi Sunni-Shia riots recently or even Muslims who migrated from India were initially discriminated (1947) or other ethnic violence,

There are many who can post equally gory pictures, but the point you are missing out is about the original topic of discussion, Indians and Pakistanis not Indian Muslims vs Pakistani Muslims.

However most of these problems crop up due to culprits with vested interests rather than with genuine ethnic or religious issues. In any case contrary to stage manage these issues by drama queens, they are exposed and addressed accordingly. You know last time India Cricket team came to Pakistan, it was naturally accompanied by other media and show biz personalities, most of whom were on their first visit. After spending time in Pakistan, they had to disclose the fact that they now understood why Muslim wanted a separate country and what freedom means and how it is enjoyed.
