BAF recruits’ passing out parade held

Moulvibazar (Shamshernagar), Nov 23 (UNB) - The passing out parade of the 39th batch of recruits of the Bangladesh Air Force was held at the Recruits’ Training School (RTS) at Shamshernagar in Moulvibazar on Wednesday.
Khondaker M Asaduzzaman, secretary, Ministry of Defence, reviewed the spectacular parade and took salute at the impressive march past.
He also distributed certificates and awards among the outstanding recruits.
AC-2 Mohammad Alamgir Hossain was adjudged the best recruit among the passed out recruits for his best all-round performance in Academics and General Service Training (GST). He was also adjudged the best recruit in Academics.
Meanwhile, AC-2 Md Sajibul Islam adjudged the best recruit in General Service Training (GST). He also commanded the smartly turned out parade.
A total of 612 recruits have been inducted in Bangladesh Air Force today through this parade.
Earlier, on his arrival at the parade ground, Khondaker M Asaduzzaman was received by Assistant Chief of Air Staff (Admin) Air Vice Marshal Muhammad Enamul Bari and Air Officer Commanding of BAF Base Kurmitola Air Commodore Ehsanul Gani Choudhury.
Among others senior officers of Army, Air Force and guardians of the recruits witnessed the parade.
