Women who married Afghan refugees stage protest in Peshawar

Some of you people talk like they're here to steal your jobs. What jobs? Going on the roads and selling vegetables? Cleaning up streets? Gardeners? Half of you wouldn't even do something like that. Face it. Some are here genuinely for work and probably contribute to the country a lot more in a different way.

Please tell me how how a Dr to be is feeling insecure about his hypothesis on Neurology dissertation by a Afghan who wants to just find safe haven and make a living from running a local Kobeda take out?

If these people are following the process and are legally in the country then it shouldn't be a problem. If they can afford a living, have a family WITH Pakistani citizens and aren't living off other people, but in a dignified manner. I don't see the issue.

The issue only a minority are following due process. Plus an even smaller minority actually like or respect Pakistan. Why would one let in someone even legally if they hate you?

Your brushing everyone with the same colour. I'm not saying they should come illegally. But if they follow the legal process and have ticked the check boxes then what's the issue? Who knows once they live amongst others you change their perspective.

That's like saying many Pakistani/Indian Men Marry Women from abroad for their citizenship (no offence there have been dodgy incidents).

What if you're in love? Or want to have better living conditions for you and your spouse? Or Married because you're the only source of support they have?

I think exceptional circumstances should be looked into and reviewed.

Even that's wrong after they get their citizenship they leave them..

Well about the love part everyone that will marry a woman for Citizenship will say i'm in love with her

As I said why let someone in who hates you even legally?

A state of undeclared war exists between Afghanistan and Pakistan. Context must he considered. Those who wish to stay must undergo some sort of rigorous process and join the military or some sort of national service to prove that they are sincere to Pakistan.

Many Afghans have been living in Pakistan for decades and they still despise Pakistan ( of course a minority will not hold such views).

. .
So afghan men have married pakistani women and left them alone after govt crackdown ?

Sympathies for these ladies.
Afghan women that marry Pakistani men can stay but Afghan men that married Pakistani women, cant.

I wouldnt say so, many of them used to be where I lived. Most of them were local vendors, never bothered anyone and considered themselves Pakistani.

And when they come to the UK on Pakistani documentation they curse Pakistan like none other. Mere words are not enough. Would they be willing to fight for Pakistan in case of Afghan aggression?

.
I fail to believe that on a factual bases because those are mere opinions.

How about a permit system as long as you are married you could stay and avail certain facilities but that permit gets revoked incase of divorce or if you are found doing something illegal?

In 1947 and 1965; Pashtun tribes from both sides of the border, rushed to Pakistan's aid.
In 1971, 1999, 2002, 2008 - Pashtun tribes from both sides pledged support and began mobilization for war.

So, I would say yes.

Exactly, there should be some sort of lea way. For e.g. Those who want to come and work here consider work permit. Those who wish to Marry have a conditional stay etc

In all fairness let's be very honest with ourselves, during the Afghanistan war, Pakistan gave air-space and land to US forces to stay and attack. Many watched the massacre of thousands of Afghanis. And we have the audacity to question why Afghanistan doesn't like Pakistan much because they felt betrayed in brotherhood? Are we really asking these questions?

If I did I wouldn't be asking, please enlighten me.

It is to deter Afghan refugees from staying permanently inside Pakistan. The Afghan refugees came in temporarily until the situation in their home country improved.

Well my only objection is that these women are Pakistani and their lifestyle will be greatly affected by this i dont wish to earn any love from Afghans i am pro voluntary repatriation and am against excessive use of force in repatriation but i am not a fan of appeasement like we did in handing them the border gate
