That's Why I singled out TN apart from MH and GJ.

But TN is Partially Industrialized.

I hope with the completion of the Ports and Shipyards Planned and the Japanese Investment in Heavy Industrial Machinery like Cranes, Turbine Generators.

I want those Investments in Maharashtra.:argh:

You know the Capitalist in me. :azn:

TN doesn't feature that high.

Look at here.

Gujarat CM Narendra Modi coins a new success sutra of ‘Skill+Will+Zeal=WIN’

Ahmedabad: Even as the nation is celebrating Swami Vivekanand's sesquicentennial birth anniversary through yearlong programmes, Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi today called for a upgrading the skill of youth and coined a new success sutra: 'SKILL + WILL + ZEAL = WIN'.

Inaugurating the three-day techno-management carnival, called NU TECH-'12 and organised by Institute of Technology at Nirma University here, he said that India has the world's largest number of youth. It is not enough to make them degree-holders but help them learn the right skills and engage them to solve various problems of the society.
The NU TECH carnival is the first of its kind initiative of 13 students' groups aimed at the use of advanced technology and management for the development of villages.

He said that villages are fast developing and are already using technology in their day-to-day life. The need is for synergy, assimilation, acceptance and wide use of technology in the fields, at homes, in kitchens, by men and women, by the educated and illiterate people alike.

Mr. Modi cited the example of Gujarat's Forensic Sciences University, Mr. Modi said is helping farmers in testing the purity and quality of seeds, fertilizers and insecticides with the application of science and technology. The need is for application of technology in qualitative improvement in social, economic, educational fields.

He said the mantra for students of engineering and technology is 'science is universal, technology for local'. He took round of the projects prepared by the students and wished the students all success.

Prominent among those who spoke on the occasion included Nirma Unversity's founder industrialist Karsanbhai Patel, Director-General D N.V. Vasani, Institute of Technology Director Dr k. Kotecha and Dr. D.K. Kothari.

Maharashtra did its part for the nation but now its under congress rule.

Now Gujarat,Bihar and TN will shine. All are free from the chor party.

'Don't underestimate the power of stupid people in large numbers'....that's what you guys are....you keep voting the Corrupt Congress into office!!! When will you learn? When will reality dawn? Twenty years back we could blame everything on lack of education...now educated people are also doing such stupidity.

Everything said and done; I'm happy that today's India wants to argue on who is the business leader among them? Nobody is buying the old socialist crap!

This kind of competition is good!

About, my state Maharashtra, it was one of the most progressive states till this third inning of Kangress. Now, we are into a slide and other states are indeed marching ahead.

However, Maharashtra has a lot of potential, especially the Vidarbha region. Someone with even half the potential of Modi can really turn things around for us.

Meanwhile, odisha seems to be the new fast dog in the camp!

Mate Uttar Pradesh has been left behind.
20% of India lives there. We cannot shine unless UP shines.

you are acting like Maharashtra is a different country.....

delhi is Central Government.

The Country is Run on a Budget. 80% of the Revenue for the Central Government comes from only Taxes. Now Imagine How much Budget or Expenses of the Country came from My State for the Country. And We do have a right to demand from the Central Government.

See, Most of the States are in a Liability. They take more than they give to the Central Government.

Hardly 5-6 States run the Entire Country.

This has to be changed.

Productivity is not coming from more than 70% of the Population of the Country (Consider the Unproductive States.)

Since We live in the Same Country and also Share the Resources, I also do have the Right to demand from the other States WTF they are doing for the past 60 Years? Why are they still unproductive and a Burden on the country?

Also, The Central State Government is Heavily Bastardized. The Center(Delhi) wields Considerable Unaccounted Power over the affairs of the People of India. The States are nothing more than Puppets who can be moulded as and when required!

Ask the South Indians. They would explain you better.

The Central Government doesn't give a Sh!t about the Supreme Court orders many times because It hurts the Vote Bank of Congress. These B*stards have time and again used the powers of the Central Government for their own purpose unaccounted.

Look at the CBI. Look at the Blitzkrieg Media Campaign bashing the Opposition at every moment. Making a Demon out of Modi. There are many Instances.

Congress and Delhi have always done this. Kept the Country Poor. At every Election They launch their Jacksh!t Socialist Schemes out of somewhat Money the Few States made. You know the position of the states prior to 1991 Period.

How many States actually made Money and were Positive?

Hardly 3-4. The Rest 20+ were fed from the Money made by the 3-4 ones.

I want all the states to be Industrialized.

I want every Indian to have $40,000 Per Capita Income. That's all.

Only Industrialization can give that.

Only Maharashtra and Gujarat has that which form 15% of the Population.

When I said that the rest of the country is useless, It was no offensive tone. It was simply a Fact. They will have no Future. They will live like they lived for the past 60 Years under Delhi Thugs.

The same Old Poverty, Same Old Corruption, Same Old Jacksh!itness Every Indian has since Post 1947.

You will have the same Frustration that you have Today against the Congress and Delhi 50 years down the line.

Unless and unless India becomes the next Factory Floor of the World. Unless and Unless We see the Polluted Air, Dirty Rivers, The Sweat. You will never reach the Developed World or the western standard of Living. All of those countries have seen it at some point in their history. Some saw it early(US,Europe,Japan). Some saw it late(Singapore,South Korea,China).

It is the Most Important Part of Industrial Cycle. Ask the Chinese!

Mumbai has seen it for 200 Years. Maharashtra has seen that for more than 50 Years.. Gujarat is seeing it today.

When will the rest of the Country see it?

:)

Free the people from their rule.
Italian mafia should go back to sicily.
Dogvijay can go to pakistan.

The Delhi B*stards Shippon off our Money to Swiss Bank or use the Money on building the North or Spends on Jacksh!t Socialist Schemes like NREGA and Food Security Bill.

At the end of the day, They come to beg us for the money.

Dude, are you in your senses?

Maharashtra is an integral part of the nation and the taxes collected from there will, of course, be used for the development of the other parts of the country. Why complain about it? Be Proud of it.

Talking of what we Mumbaikars got in return, let me tell you something. If not for the support of whole of India (in terms of Political will as well as labor from other states), Mumbai could not have been where it is now.

It's because We Industrialized. We made the factories. We made the Share Markets with Trillions of Dollars of Market Capitalization.

Dude, we Industrialized with the support of the country. We made the factories with the support of the country. Most of the industries and factories that you are talking about have been set by entrepreneurs from all over the country and have been supported by labor from Maharashtra as well as from the rest parts of the country.

And yes, the share market runs with money pouring from all over the country, especially from Gujaratis. They rule the stock market. Today, a lot of money comes from outside India too. So, it is nothing to be proud about.

As a Maharashtrian, nothing hurts me more than the fact that many Mumbaikars see only what Mumbai does for the country. They do not see how the country has helped build Mumbai..

Coming to the point of the topic, I can offer you the perspective from three different states.

1) About Maharashtra

Being born and brought up in Mumbai, I have always been proud of Mumbai. However, it is a well known fact that Mumbai (and Maharashtra) has not developed as much as it could have, even with moderate efforts, in the past 10 -15 years.

2) About Gujarat

Gujarat is advancing a lot. In fact, right now, I am in Ahmedabad for my MBA. I can see the development in Gujarat. I hear the stories from all my Gujarati friends as well as from all the common people about how the city was 5 - 10 years back and how it has developed since then.

3) About Bihar

My parents are from Bihar and hence, I do regularly have visits to Bihar as well.

I was always teased for natively being a Bihari due to Congress - LALU raaj and the underdevelopment of bihar. Not any more.
Ever since BJP government has started the development works in Bihar, people have started respecting Bihar.
I have seen the development myself. The Roads are much better. The focus on education is much higher even for girls. Law and Order situation is much better.

Overall, from the experience of the 3 states I have had the chance to live in, I can say that BJP governments are much better than Congress.

Thanks. I would end this post now. Sorry for this EPIC post. Could not control myself from writing all this.

Maharashtra has been consistently growing faster than Gujarat. It's just that congress is not as good at propaganda as bjp. You have to look through the photo op sessions of modi to see where Gujarat really stands. For all the talk, Gujarat still has a pretty poor ranking in social indicators. I am afraid the same might happen to the nation as a whole if modi becomes the PM. A shining India campaign while the poor are dying of hunger:tdown:

Who the fu*k are you trying to fool?

Gujarat's GDP per capita is twice the national average?
Do you ever hear of people dying of cold or heat in gujarat?
Are they ever hospital strikes in gujarat?

Modi has made Gujarat the growth engine of the indian economy.

Unlike the Maino family which keeps making its swiss accounts fatter.
