What's new

Will use KP's force -CM Mahmood Khan.

Well, well IK has let the cat out of the bag and hinted at where we are headed if things are not resolved. Pakistan again is at where it was on the eve of 1971.

PTI Chairman Imran Khan on Wednesday admitted he did not enjoy absolute power as the prime minister, indicating that the actual centres of power in the country lay elsewhere and "everyone knows where that is."

"We will see if they allow us to go towards elections through legal and constitutional means otherwise this country will go towards civil war."

Khan is absolutely right.

If elections don't take place soon, 1971 will repeat. You cannot steal majority mandate from a party through force. It never ends well. Example: Mujibur Rehman 1970 elections.

.
The day IK accepts the costs of revolution (he currently wants significant political change with minimal risk and no violence, which is a difficult ask) ---- and stops being a politician hoping that postcolonial, compromised institutions will deliver justice --- Pakistan's history may finally change for the better.

Imran Khan and PTI is the stalwart between Pashtuns going to ethnic nationalism.

It’s very funny how Pakistanis don’t know their own people, we all know how 71 turned out, aftermath of Bhutto turned out, aftermath of Bugti turned out. But what’s the use??

Are people this blind to a potential threat

Agreed. Our traditions differ and I have always maintained that. I'm proud to be from a people who fought the Sikh empire, fought the British when they came and finally finished off the Dogras from our lands.
We are a martial folk who are very distinct from the ethnic Kashmiris.

Ethnic kashmiris are docile by nature. That’s why Pathans and Punjabis had to fight on their behalf against the indian hordes.

Highly educated bro we all have our places.
But the valley isn't martial by nature, but you come across tough ethnic Kashmiris in Pakistan.

We are basically mountainous Punjabi people.

Anyway you don't get this there;

Here is a Kashmiri cultural song;

I can't make out what they are saying for much of it. I understand Pashto better ironically.

We are distinct culture and many of us 'Mipuris' are proud of it. I also find it weird how they refer to all AZK as 'Mirpuri' when it's just a city. The region is far and wide. My own ancestral lands are 60 miles away from it.

Mirpuris are tough sons of guns, but the valley kashmiris are docile.

Much stronger over the years, I mean they are a trading and educated class which has made great contributions.
We the AJK have always been a martial folk but our literacy rate is fantastic as well, lowest level of crime in all of Pakistan etc.
But anyway let's hope one day we can rectify the historic right.

Ofcourse, I am quoting last census results (2017). I am sure Pashtoon's of Baluchistan are not sitting idle since then :D :partay:

Is it even in our hands? It's not about seeing
I don't even give a f about anyone pro Pak or not at this point of time (that's important, I am not denying it's importance, can't have a country without people believing in it)
First and foremost we are going towards a bankruptcy due to this change, in face of extreme sociol Media pressure, public pressure - if they're not mending Thier ways
It's not in the hands of the people, instead top 50 people if the country seems to be running the show from the looks of it- this is the scary part
Regular people are not controlling it instead thier voices can be curbed and overruled
