What's new

Will the advanced Chinese- Pakistani "JF-17 Block 3" fighter be the next guest of the Egyptian Air Force?

It's simple bid and ask, and Egypt has better offers than other suppliers
The JF-17 for the Pakistanis is better than the F-22, but if it meets our demands, technically and financially, we buy it.

It's very simple to view and request
Egypt does not have any negotiations with Pakistan on the basis of the JF-17. There have been old negotiations with China for many years and Egyptian demands have not been met, and Egypt has already bought Rafale & MIG-29M SU-35 fighters

Consequently, we do not need a much light fighter, as we are in the process of contracting a CH-7 UCAV, which will replace modest ground attack fighters to perform.

And the offers of advanced training aircraft from the Czech Republic, Italy, America, India, and any country that meets the Egyptian demands we deal with. We are not running behind anyone, and the most important thing is the performance of the plane, not the wishes of some. The only JF-17B is only the price, as even the Italian M346FA aircraft are equipped with AESA radar, advanced electronic warfare systems and missiles such as MICA

Some seem to think that he has a technology. There is a surprise that MBDA will establish production lines in Egypt for the production of MICA-NG, given that Egypt's demand for this missile is large and the French company NAVAL offers to produce 10 Corvettes Gwind 2500 in a new shipyard that will be inaugurated within a month and also offered to Egypt production Scorpion 2000 submarine submarines in the construction basin in Marsa Matrouh,

Egypt. Some people are very nave and delude that they have modest equipment. The Russians produced 120 MIG-35 fighters in Egypt, and the Russians previously transferred missile production technology to China and supported the SD-10 program, as well as China's production of the KH-31 missile under the name YJ-91 in China. As long as you buy more than 50 Russian fighters, you have the right as a buyer to transfer the technology.

What BVRs do you clowns in Egypt use for your F16s, Raphael's or russian air craft???????

SM31T_EGYPT_113987.jpg

The American offer SM-31T is an advanced single engine
It was offered to Egypt at a price of 17 million dollars, a case of a copy of it equipped with a GE-404/414 engine. It is considered more than excellent, even if at a price of 25 million dollars. The design has a low thermal and radar signature and a larger internal armament container, therefore, perhaps better than all the light fighters offered to Egypt.

Better, go get it and build a formidable force against your arch rival like you previously bought a large number of F16 vipers without sting.
Pakistan has no intension to sell JF17 to the Egyptians, just read the news JF17 as guest. I well aware of the difference, there is not even a slight chance of JF17 joining egyptian air force.
Yeah JF-17 is the most trustworthy fighter plane you know why? It has and can protect our homeland. So it is better than F 22 for us.

Let me ask you a question

Let's say Ethiopia buys 100 JF17s Block 3 equipped with PL15 BVRs and SD10a BVRs

I think that's about 400 BVR force

And in conflict Egypt gets 100 of its best aircraft let's say a mixture of F16s, Raphael's and some Russian plane's

And they fly towards each other

What happens????????

PL15👇
The missile features an active electronically scanned array radar,[4] and has a range exceeding 200 km – comparable to that of the Russian R-37 missile. It is 4 meters long and incorporates a dual-thrust rocket motor, capable of a speed of Mach 4.

SD10a👇

The PL-12 is claimed to have an operational ceiling of at least 21 km, with a maximum effective range of 100 km and a minimum engagement range of 1,000 m. The missile has a 38+ g manoeuvering limit and, according to CATIC, it has been tested for a 100-hour captive 'live flight' life. According to Chinese claims, PL-12 is more capable than the American AIM-120 A/B, but slightly inferior than the AIM-120C.

So rather than plug the gap you geniuses want F16s without Amraams, Raphael's without Meteor,

It's like your idiots or something

After Rafale, Sukhoi 35, Mig 29 M2, F-16s, and may be Eurofighter Typhoons, are we getting a Pakistani fighter?!!!!!!! :fie:

Even if it is considered Chinese, they have a lot better to offer than the flying cockroach.

This is wonderful, but Ethiopia is bankrupt and economically collapsing, and there is a difference between dreams and facts. Does the JF-17 represent a real threat to the Rafale or the SU-35 of course not the Chinese radar KLJ-7A is very miserable
These are only daydreams, and even the PL-15 missile did not show its real effectiveness. Does the JF-17 have electronic warfare capabilities that can even parallel the planes with Egypt? Of course, your situation is not miserable for you to think that selling this plane to Ethiopia represents an option for Ethiopia. Its budget is 350 million dollars annually and Egypt will spend On it, it is clear that you do not know that there are 8 regions in Ethiopia now that the civil war is raging in it, and it is a country that will inevitably end as soon as some imagine, while it is engaged in a war with Sudan, and after these wars are outweighed, we will eliminate what is left of them. Wars are now not all direct, and some weapons to deter Egypt have put A red line for the Turks after Egyptian maneuvers and an armed mobilization with Qadar-2020 maneuvers, and HASM-2020 was resolved, so the Turks were terrified as they begged to restore their relationship with Egypt. You think JF-17 is a threat when it is in the hands of Ethiopia. Pakistan itself is looking to buy 30 J-10C aircraft so that it has borders Inferior to the ability to counter the Indian Rafale, there is a big difference between the allegations, propaganda, and illusions, and the facts in Pakistan in a very huge stalemate with its light aircraft JF-17 because it is simply the highest level of the Rafale, which is comfortable, and also Rafale is subject to major developments of the F-4 version. India is seeking to buy a new batch and there are Pakistani negotiations to buy the SU-35

Well indian SU-30s, Mig-29s were pretty useless against Pakistan JF-17s, and their migs/sukhois are far more advanced than downgraded jets the russians supplied you with Saudi money.

None of your Latest jets are even equipped with modern day BVR or supported by modern day AWACS. Even a 90s era jammer is enough to jam your communications/radar let alone modern day jammers that Pakistan/Turkey/Israel are producing.

For instance a perfect example of modern day arial warfare was Feb 2019 between pakistan and india. indias air force on paper is much larger, has better equipped jet with better performance, range, payload, etc... but in the end none of that mattered. Pakistans air force was a lot more integrated, fighters were linked with link-16/17 C4I systems, AWACS were there in full support, PAF jamming aircrafts literally jammed IAF communication networks to the points that there radios/radars could not communicate with eachother. They shot down their own helicopters in the confusion. PAF employed only 2 fighter jets ie F-16 and jF-17 that are linked with one another and build to have perfect synergy with one another compared to India which has 7-8 different types of frontline fighters.

THe situation is the exact same with Egypt. How do you expect your Russian SU-35, Mig29s to have synergy with American F16s, French Rafales, mirages, and so on? None of their communications are built to work with one another, none of their radars are meant to work with one another. Which leads me to strongly believe that the Egyptians are still relying on the old soviet philosophy of using ground control radars to communicate with their fighter jets. The Indians employee the same strategy to this day and when on feb 2019 their fighters lost communication with ground control they had no idea what commands/direction they should follow. in that state of confusion 2 of their jets were shot down.

Fact of the matter is even if Egypt got the F22s tomorrow, your pilots/military training is so inept the Israelis could prob take you out with F16s. Those are the true facts. Your airforce is a hog posh of 7-8 different jets, lacks awacs, lacks jammers, lacks bvrs, lacks world class training, and still follows the old soviet model of relying on ground control stations/radars for communication/command.

هل ستكون المقاتلة الصينية JF-17 بلوك 3 المتطورة الضيف القادم لسلاح الجو المصري؟

Egypt has been pursuing the Sino-Pakistani fighter JF-17 for several years, hoping that the third block will satisfy the requirements and ambitions of the Egyptian Air Force, because if Egypt contracted for this fighter, it would be a joint manufacturing deal and would be a real nucleus for a national Egyptian fighter industry project, according to Egyptian defense expert Sameh.Al Jalad.

According to him, Egypt has already made its observation on the second block of the fighter and those observations have been fulfilled in the third block, the most important of which is the addition of the AESA radar, which is the most recent and newer than the radar on the MIG-29M fighter, as it is difficult to jam and has a greater range and does not require maintenance and does not have malfunctions, also the speed of the fighter was increased to Mach 2 and the armament weight increased to 6 tons, similar to the F-16 fighters.

The previous generation had the ability to carry weapons and ammunition of up to 4.5 tons only in the previous block and also the range of the fighter was increased by increasing the size of the fuel tank and adding the feature of refueling between fighters, as the Block 3 will allow the installation of shoulder fuel tanks on the sides as is the case in The F-16 Block 52 which will allow it to have a greater range, and the cockpit has been completely changed and various materials have been introduced into the Block 3 manufacturing to reduce its fingerprint on the radar screens.

The fighter is also equipped with an HMS system, so the pilot can track and lock the target without the need to use hand tools. Once the pilot only moves his head towards the target, the missile shuts off the target, and this allows the pilot to view targets around the cockpit to target them, and the third block has a Chinese engine called WS-13, which is a Chinese-made turbocharged engine that produces 22,000 pounds of power stronger than the MiG-29 engine. He was working on it earlier.

In addition, it will be equipped with the latest missiles in the Chinese and Pakistani arsenals of air-to-air missiles with a range of 200 - 300 km and cruise missiles with a range of up to 500 km. The fighter is also characterized by its low economic cost, as its maintenance does not reach 20% of the cost of the Rafale and 50% of the cost of the F-16 ...This fighter will be an alternative to the second-line fighters that have been out of service (MiG-21, Mirage 5, F4 Phantom and Chinese J7), as Egypt needs at least 100 fighters instead of those types that have been put out of service and there is no better than this project, especially as it will be a joint manufacturing and if Egypt is to contract the manufacture of the ammunition as well, it would be a serious project, that will allow Egypt to move 20 years forward in military industrialization , and then it would be easy for it to bring the Egyptian national fighter project to light, according to the expert.

While I am happy over the progress Pakistan is making in defense arena, we should be very very careful when we step in defense production arena.
Pakistan should make sure that we are paying a good share to defense production consortiums of either Europe or america as well. For that, make sure we are including at least one or two systems from western sources as well... Bhatta boltay Hain isy. US waqt tak jab tak ham sb kch khud na bnanay lagain..

Sino-Pakistani aircraft FC-1 / JF-17
It is good for Pakistanis to search for markets for it, and to sell the plane to Egypt is an elegant idea that will open many other markets for it.
The Plane
It is basically suitable as an advanced training plane, the JF-17B version, and Egypt is graduating from service 45 Alpha jet and 48 L-59E planes. Consequently, it is in need of light combat. An advanced training plane can be expanded to obtain locally 120 planes for the local market and perhaps also for the Sudanese market.

Pakistani JF-17 problems with Egypt and with export in general

The aircraft is an antique design from the basis, inheriting the tubular design of the MiG-21, with limited maneuverability, and it was rejected by Egypt and Argentina, with its severely weak structure, to fight air-to-air. Therefore, Egypt recommended Pakistan that the development should include the structure, the capabilities of the aircraft and the trust -for-weight ratios.
It is due to the lower life of the RD-93 engine than the RD-33MK3 engine. Therefore, the countries preferred the RD-33 Series 3 engine.

Other problems for the plane Price: Myanmar bought the plane at a price of $ 16 million
Myanmar bought 100 million dollars worth of munitions, meaning the plane cost just 22.5 million dollars
Pakistan was selling the plane at a price of 25 million dollars + commission to the selling agent 4 million dollars for the Block 2 version, so you only

found the Nigerian customer of a country famous for its complete corruption in its deals, and what was released about the price of 182 million dollars to buy 3 planes, an order that explains itself is normal for any country to buy from China

Egypt requested a complete technology transfer, the freedom to develop and self-adjust the plane, and the technology to produce BVR missiles, and when China refused, Egypt rejected the deal completely, and all deals faltered.

India is offering the LCA plane at a price of $ 30 million to Egypt for the training version. It is distinguished by its ability to effectively air combat, design and structure much better than the Pakistani plane.
Egypt can simply add 50-70 MiG-35s to replace the Mirage 5
Italy is offering it 36 M346FA planes, locally produced and even for export to African and Arab countries

View attachment 733576

Therefore, Egypt can add 50-70 private MiG-35 aircraft with local assembly with the Italian plane, unless the Indian and Pakistani offers are better in price, and transferring better technology and technology.

Some Pakistanis under the illusion that their plane is superior and that it is of high technology or technology, and no country with a respectable air force thought of it. Even the Gulf countries that supported Pakistan, found it not suitable and preferred the British Hawk, and some find that it is enough for Egypt, Block 2, even though Block 3 if Egypt chose it would be An average of the best dreams of Pakistanis about it, whether equipped or modified. The plane’s position is sensitive. It will not be able to confront a plane like the Israeli F-35 or F-15, and if Egypt thinks about it, it will be a light ground support plane that does not exceed the role of the Alpha jet, but it is not even suitable to be a good alternative to the Mirage 5
View attachment 733579
China itself is offering Egypt the J-10C plane and its modifications to compete with the MiG-35 at a price of $ 40 million, which is a price pressure on the prices of the MiG-35, as well as the JF-17.
I apologies that our jf17 doesnt meet the high standards that the eaf and other arab air forces have. Considering the history of all arab air forces for last 70 years, I can only laugh. In general most useless fighting forces hearld from arab world. Real good at torturing the domestic opponents, and that's about all. Yes you have the money to buy most modern toys but scared s*** of iran, not to mention Israel, the new defecto leader of arab world.

Why does Egypt air force need the Eurofighters when they have the Rafales? Have they recieved
the meteor missile yet?
