There is no way IA can do the same as there is neither such troublesome situation exist nor there is such motive. Our democracy may be bad in terms of politicians but its base is very strong hence it is not going to happen. One more point I always noticed, This army revolt is actually a tendency which happens either on critical times or repetititvely as nature. Dont worry we have neither..

One of the major reasons the Indian Army will never revolt is because till 1947 it was the army which was used to subjugate the Indian people. From the onset of the formation of the Indian army after independence, it was a Un written rule that the Army would be apolitical. It’s a guideline they follow to the letter i must say happily, so i doubt if there will ever be a takeover.

Poor economic conditions
Deep rooted Corruption

Army cannot move a muscle without the orders of President...and Army comprises of very loyal people assorted out of thick tar of corrupt Indians mostly Gurkhas,Sikh,Rajputs,Marathas and South Indian warrior clans...

our president is the supreme commander of our armed forces. president is chosed by the parliament. then how can there will be a military revolt.

also there are many more special armed forces which is directly undercontrol of ruling government.
