Why This Indian Neighbour Decided To Buy 2 Submarines From China

Listen kid, BD sees Myanmar as no more than a nuisance.

BD has just started a MASSIVE military buildup that will mean that within 10-15 years, BD can crush Myanmar
and bring it's collapse within 1-2 weeks of heavy air and sea bombardment. Just keep your head low and dont irritate BD and you may just be ok.
crush Myanmar with what ? BD have no ability to do that. and are u sure getting permission from India to make a missive built up ? i dont think so.lol :D focus on global warning rather than military build up would be more realistic. even my 3 years old may know how to do and what should be priority in this time. :D

Dude, you may be considering your posts to be pretty cool but they are quite idiotic and a bit annoying. The fact that our economy is 4 times larger than myanmar, you can never beat us in any arms race, it's just your military trying to make you guys uber nationalist so that they could keep controlling the country. As far as our armed forces are concerned, if you ever talk to any Bangladeshi personnel you'd know that our main threat perception is centered around India, they are just trained in this way. Myanmar is perhaps a small issue considered by the Navy but doesn't get any importance on our strategic planning whatsoever. If you just take a look at our purchases and modernization, we are definitely not looking at Myanmar rather to our west.

@The Eagle @WAJsal @waz please take a look at the off topic and derailing posts.

Bangladesh will procure more...Anyone any problem? Indians earn billion dollar remittance from Bangladesh...And kill innocent Bangladeshi villagers living at the borders...Indians thought that Awami League government would weaken armed forces...Alas! Armed forces have become much stronger with the help of China!

Bangladeshi army's ability to traverse hundreds of miles of hostile territory into Myanmar is zero
it will be that way for the near future

lol we say like that cos we do know BD's ability and strength which is big flat zero against Myanmar. we also have nothing to compare with Beedee as we're going to our plan and goal. and we guys can never compete with India who is 10 larger in economy and hundard time in military ahead of BD. they can even put a puppet PM in regime. so better change ur perception as BD will never be a threat to India from now and forever. making RMG or building a wall for flood should be priority for BD now. lol

Dude, if Myanmar had even 1% of military superiority over Bangladesh, you would have seen your military junta invading Bangladesh a long time back, just to strengthen their rule and reputation back home. That's what their intention was in the naval standoff and military showdown in 2008-2009 when the pro-democracy movements were at their peak, but the Tatmadaw came to know they have a long way to go and had to rush back to save their face. And then you have dozens of separatist movements going in your country which is obviously a massive strategic disadvantage for the Tatmadaw.

Now you are taking a leaf out of the Indian trolls to make these 'cool' posts but you should know when they post such things they say it from their situation and context. Posting their statements in the context of Bangladesh-Burma relations is nothing but quite hilarious.

That would be Delhi, I think. Mumbai has more of cabbies from BD. As long as they work honestly, I think we should have open borders with Nepal, Bhutan, SL and BD. With 5 year work permits allowed and exceptions with access to certain areas which are sensitive.
what about :pakistan:

I talked about air and sea bombardment.
BD army can invade Arakan easily up to mountains.
Lastly, BD starts supplying rebels with weapons and supports them with air-strikes and Myanmar will disintegrate along ethnic lines.

Myanmar is no position to invade anybody. That does not mean they are easy country to invade

You should talk to Indian defence minister with your opinion. I think you will get a Padama Bhushan for it. Or if your lucky you can get into Modi's cabinet too.

Bangladeshi air force does not have the kind of strike capability required to damage Myanmar army.
Invading along the Arakan mountains is not easy. It is a tough assignment for the Indian army.

You need to brush up on WW 2 history.

The thing is Myanmar doesn't even need to be invaded. If we want to inflict any damage, we just need to support the separatist movements in the country and we will gain influence over their territories.

Now it's in our own interest that influence of China over Myanmar is increasing, that will keep the Tatmadaw under control.

This is what will happen. Myanmar will buy weapons from foreign countries and crush the revolt. After that you will have one sore neighbor

India tried to support pro-democracy movement in Myanmar. China was gaining too much influence. India folded. For that matter so did Uncle Sam.

There are a weak and divided society. They are too big to be bullied around. They have the unwavering support of China.

Okay if you want to cheerlead, at least do it properly. Do you even know how many sanctions the are subjected to? They can't even have the general trade with other countries until recently, let alone purchasing arms.

And as I said, Chinese influence over Myanmar is beneficial to us as it will prevent their military to go adventurist. Myanmar government is still unable to take hold in their territories, so them being a Chinese satellite is good for the stability of the entire region.
